I was dozing off at the wheel and needed to find a place for me and my dog to sleep rather quickly. Drove in to the Motel 6, no reservation. I was checked in and in my room in less than 10 minutes. No fee for the dog and we got back on the road bright and early. This was an excellent quick stop and the woman who checked us in was friendly and very helpful at such a late hour! If I ever drive through Alexandria again, I will be stopping her.

Rooms were clean. Location is good. Service good. The only I'd change is if the room had a microwave and refrigerator. There isn't either in the room

I rate a five due to outstanding service, and friendliness. However, it's definitely not the cleanest place to stay. I wouldn't suggest it for families with small children. If you're an adult and flying solo, it's perfect.

My first room I got the door was hard to open and when I tried to leave out the room to get something out my car I found the door wouldn't close from outside, bedbugs trash already in trash cans, stained sheets, used towels and soap left in room.  Was moved to another room upon request. New room had dead bugs on floor, bedbugs, dirty socks left in room, cigarette butts in corner, when tried locking this door from inside locking kept slipping when checking to make sure it locked for night not sure if it was normal. The staff was very nice however I couldn't stay the full night in those conditions I am waiting on my refund. I know u get what u pay for but that was totally unacceptable. I can not recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean room to stay.

The staff were very nice and courteous and that's the ONLY reason I'm giving a two stars. The room itself was horrendous!! The beds were tattered and felt like box springs, the shower only had hot water at a trickle, roaches climbing in the sink. If I had seen the roaches the night before, I would have been out of there, the other I can live with. 
On the bright side, the a/c worked quite well.
