I believe I keep my expectations reasonable when I stay at

Thank goodness desk was nice enough to check me in a couple of hours early they had a room available. But AC wasn't cooling off. Tried to be patient. But after waiting almost 4 hours I was given a room that was nice and cool. But with an AC that sounded like my head was against a lawn mower. Kept waking up every 30 to 45 minutes. When I get up in the morning and check in the mirror why is my back and arms itching. I have bump, welts and redness All over. I little on my legs, but mainly upper body back and arms. Took pictures and video. Absolutely horrible stay. Value for the room had none of these things happened. Would have been good. But after 3 bad episodes in 1 night. Cancelled my future reservation at this property.

One major issue ... I was told when I booked the room through central reservations that the total would be $115.16. When I checked I was told the same thing and used my AMEX to pay. I later discovered that in addition to the $115.16 the hotel added what they could for "incidentals" which were never communicated to myself either in writing or verbally. The additional amount wiped out the balance on my account. This caused me some embarrassment later the next day when I went to use my card and it was declined. Thank goodness I had enough cash to pay for my meal. No where is there signage regarding the additional amount to be "held". No one verbally told me this either. When I asked the manager about this at check out her response was, " this happens and should drop off in a day or so". My understanding regarding the use of debit/credit cards is that the hotel/motel must place either the information regarding deposits/incidentals in a place where the guest can see it or it must be on form that the guest would sign acknowledging that they are aware of this happening. I have no problem with deposit/incidental fees, however you must notify me of that practice so that if I wish to use cash for that amount it is my option to do so. These are the only policies mentions when you book the reservation through central reservations ... Guarantee Policy Reservations made through the Motel 6 website must be held for late arrival by an accepted type of guarantee. Cancellation Policy Your reservation will be held based on your arrival time as shown above. If you should need to change or cancel please notify us by 6 PM PACIFIC TIME on the arrival date to avoid billing to the credit card. Please contact the Reservation Center or the motel directly for assistance. Special Policies In collaboration with local authorities, this specific location requires a photocopy of guest identification upon check-in. Check-in age is 18 years or older. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Additional $0.17 Tourism Tax per night per room. No room vistors allowed after 10:00 pm. I do hope that someone will look into this procedure and make the necessary corrections going forward. They basically "stole" money from my account without permission. I hope someone personally responds to my comments regarding this issue.

The manager Erica locked me out of my room and my dogs were inside and refused to let me back in after walking to the dumpster, she told me I couldn't stay another night although it's paid for in advance and when I confronted her about the roaches and bedbugs she refused to refund my money and said that I left my dogs alone all day. I literally stayed at the motel without leaving once. I'm reporting them and specifically her to the better business bureau and health inspector through San Bernardino public health department. The manager said to my face and I have it recorded on my phone that she did not care that their are roaches or bedbugs. So beware while staying here you'd be better off at the holiday inn down the street. Also they refused to switch room when people kept trying to break into mine. I have my mother in laws ashes in my room and did not want anyone in here with her and all my belongings and the manager still sent people in to the room every other hour.

Booking-great. Greeting&Sign In-excellent (Ian I believe was his name-valuable employee, knows what the hotel industry needs). Room-good-clean(cigarette burn in spread)really appreciate the fridge&Micro. Bathroom-a disaster. Red=Hot but water was ice cold. Blue=cold but water was boiling hot. Our vacation home in Baja had this type of installation and is pretty much standard in Mexico but some American & European visitor may get scalded. I wanted a hot bath. Ran the water and went to get in. Tub full of freezing water (wasted). Shower head not installed properly (we are in construction, development business) and it kept falling apart. Caulking in the seam of the 2 part bath installation never completed will cause mold & rot soon. Shower head installed below average height. Most people in US are at least 5 ft. tall. Means we had to aim it high. Causes water to spray on wall which will eventually seep into wall. More rot & mold potential. Your bathroom appears to have not been installed by a licensed US contractor who has to know the laws & rules. However much was saved by hiring whomever did the work in the bathroom, will cost the company 4 times as much in loss. Needs immediate attention. We travel frequently and generally stay at a Motel 6. We appreciate the improvements and upgrades we notice are being done. We had a most unusual experience at the Motel 6 in Sylmar, CA the night before. I would be happy to fill out a survey for our stay there also if you wish to send it to me. I took photos of all the problems and can forward them to corporate if wanted.
