I generally do not use Motel 6 in La Mesa as because of my travel needs, I need the use of a Microwave and refrigerator for several nights stay, but if I am staying for a single night then your facilities are very useful.  I appreciate the Night Clerk's (Erika L) professionalism and Motel 6 knowledge in helping me make my decision to stay and use your room the night I stayed. Her manner was friendly and made me feel very comfortable.  She was helpful to other Customers as I stood waiting for my turn at the Counter.

I asked for non-smoking rom. Room stunk like cigarettes. The bed was as hard as a rock. The sheets were worn with pills on them. 2 flat pillows. Floor was dirty. Ice bucket was dirty. One very small REALLY scratchy towel for shower. Outside on the grass/dirt areas there was dog p**p everywhere. I had a little dog with me, and I have my own doggy bags, but not everyone is considerate. You have to go clean it regularly. Just gross. Only good thing was that instead of carpet there was laminate flooring (or tile, not sure). Much easier to keep clean. Less allergies.

Of all the Motel 6 I've stayed in San Diego, this is the most out dated, badly located, and desirable in which to stay. The General Manager is very welcoming and friendly as is the staff, but the rooms are clean but out dated and some have maintenance issues  (initial room had buckled laminate wood floor around air conditioning unit where condensate had been leaking; asked to be moved due to safety hazard floor presented).

I absolutely love the new owner, Najam! He had the most courteous, respectful, and pleasantness about him it truly felt like he cared. Because of him I was able to actually get to work without getting a trolley ticket, Due to a mishap with my wallet (not at the fault of Motel6). I called him my guardian angel for helping in my time of need without even being asked, as humble as he is he says, "Oh no, I'm no guardian angel. Just call me your brother." So Thank You brother! I made it to work on time and safely. You and your staff's hard work is definitely making a difference. I'm looking forward to my next visit and I believe you can do wonders with this Motel 6, you can already see the difference.Thank You and I look forward to seeing you again, Brother!

Corporate Motel 6 and it shows.  No personal attention to client comfort.
Bath towels barely cover and VERY thin.
Sink water runs so slow due to constrictor that it takes 2 minutes (timed) to fill a drinking glass.
Sheets feel like they are made of muslin. Didn't think you could even buy such a bad product.  
 Challenged for electronics.  Very few AC outlets.
TV controller broken.  This should be recognized by cleaning staff. 
 Had to leave room before staff could clean.  Had to wait outside.
