The Motts Military Museum is dedicated to preserving and teaching all who visit, the important role our military plays in preserving our freedom.
The Motts Military museum, LLC, was as formed out of the need to preserve, protect and display items from an area of history which is often overlooked and sometimes misunderstood. Military history was and still is the backbone of America and world historical accounts. Military conflicts have shaped the makeup of America and the world. It has established governments, freed people, and overthrown dictators. Although many museums contain military items, the Motts Military Museum is unique because it encompasses all periods of military history with all countries in which the United States has been involved.
Unique to central Ohio, the Motts Military Museum has a special interest in the young people of our country. In order for them to have an understanding of the events that have shaped our country, it is essential that they have a complete presentation of our military history. Then perhaps, they will take away a new appreciation for our nation’s heritage.
The purpose of Motts Military Museum is to bring military history into its proper perspective by the collection and preservation of personal stories and memorabilia from the men and women who served in our Military. This demonstrates the impact those events had on our lives.
