Story

Mount Pleasant Centre is a gleaming multi-service civic centre with virtually everything under the roof. The heart of the building is the new Community Centre, 24% bigger and only one kilometer away from the old site, featuring a gym and climbing wall, a fitness centre, dancing studio, multi-purpose rooms and outdoor space. Mount Pleasant Centre also houses a new Vancouver Public Library, Child Development Centre, café and market value rental housing.

Really good community center, there is a gym, basketball, soccer and many other activities. The soccer takes place nearly every Tuesday of the year at 8pm though if you are dropping in you should come by at 6:45pm to register. Once registered you are on a waiting list, if there are spaces free you can join at 8pm. Mostly there are between 4-6 spots free per Tuesday.

Lots to do here! I've only been on the ground floor, but I know there's a workout room/gym as well as rooms for various exercise classes, a climbing wall, the library, showers, change rooms, washrooms, a cafe, a sitting area, food bank on Fridays, lunches, and so much more! Plus it's on a major bus route and so close to Tim Hortons and Kingsgate Mall.

A great place to be. Especially if you're looking for good relaxing time and pleasant art to see around it, great artists painting murals, nice escapade for it, not the mention the views of beautiful Vancouver in a sunny day. Definitely a must to visit.

Budgees burritos right across the street from the library where u can have a game of ping pong or pool.  Borrow a book or video game.  Or there's a nice pool hall near the burrito place.  Fantastic spot.  And it's close to dude chillin park.

Great community centre. Always clean and always nice staff. Good place to bring the kids.
