For years, Mountain Home Cafe has been serving breakfast and lunch in Estes Park. It is family owned and operated. And a favorite for locals & visitors!
What People Are Saying About Us
Good food, off the tourist path a ways, slower service, but friendly and accurate. The kitchen needs to pick up the pace a bit, but the food was good. Chorizo and eggs, nicely done and served with muy rico refried beans. The green chili wasn’t very spicy but tasty and full of tender chunks of pork. Coffee not fabulous, add sugar. I bet the patio is nice in warmer months. The waffles and pancakes served to other tables looked and smelled good. We’ll be back! - Penelope B. Boulder, CO
They were pretty packed when we wandered in at the recommendation of a local. The food is very simple, but well done. I got the “south of the border eggs” which were a pile of hashbrowns, cheese & eggs covered in green chile. Not very spicy, but really tasty. My boyfriend got an omelette which he enjoyed. The kitchen was really busy, and the hostess at the front counter was also our server. Despite having a lot to look after, she made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a pitcher of water as we had said we would be drinking a lot of it. Simple, but delicious. One of the best places in Estes Park. - Amy S.
Two words: green chili. It is truly top-notch here. We are in town for the weekend and you can be sure we will be taking a pint of it back with us to Littleton. - Brittany G.
YummyNicePleasantUnpretentious. Had a very nice breakfast there. Good atmosphere, more local people than tourists, all in all, very nice. - Joe H.
