Dr. Matthew Garrett opened Mountain Shadows family Dental located at 21765 W Yuma Rd in Buckeye AZ in 2010.

Dr. Garrett believes that your family should have the best dental experience possible at an affordable price. Unlike many dental offices that open today, Mountain Shadows is not a dental clinic or corporate owned dental office. Dr. Garrett is the owner and operator. By owning and operating the office, Dr. Garrett is not influenced by outside interest. Mountain Shadows offers a variety of dental services for your family including Periodontal treatment (gum disease), endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (extractions),mini-implant retained dentures, crowns and bridges, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and routine dental treatment for all ages.

His office can treat children as young as 2 years old and offers digital X-rays as well as all the latest technology that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Garrett is skilled in all areas of dentistry, because of this; most procedures can be performed without referring you out to a specialist, which saves you time and money.

I will say the office seemed pretty well organized but I give it 2 stars because I felt they didn't genuinely care about myself or my teeth. I felt they only cared about pushing their services down my throat, which of course aren't cheap. I'll probably be looking for another dentist that actually cares about his or her patients. By the way, I'm still having some pain and nothing was given to me to help.

Very kind, professional, first rate dental office. From the moment you walk in, Roslyn greets you, she is very friendly, cheerful, on-the-ball and professional - to the gal that took the X-rays explaining that the reason they don't hurt anymore is because they use digital (not the old film tech, so no hard cardboard gouging your gums anymore!), - to the super gentle, thorough hygienist that assesses and cleans your teeth (I nearly fell asleep!), - to Michelle who patiently helped with my new crown and especially - to Dr. Garrett (his brother and father are dentists too, it's in the blood!), he is a kind, easy going dentist👨‍⚕️ who thoughtfully listened to my symptoms, assessed my situation and made sure the pain meds were in full effect before starting (!) - the whole experience was very positive! I highly recommend this dental office⭐️🌟⭐️

very unhappy with the customer service provided. I went in on a thursday for emergency pain and had a root canal and fitted for crowns. Was told afterwards that the dentist would be on vacation for 2 weeks.  A week after I was stil experiencing severe pain and contacted the emergency line.  Dr Garretts brother perscribed me antibiotics(he was very nice and even took the time to speak with me personally about my pain) and after taking the antibiotics was still in pain. Contacted the office  and spoke with rosyln who offered me 2 morning appointments but because I am self employed and had 2 employees on vacation,  I was unable to make a morning appointment and was told I was not a priority patient and that I was being unreasonable.  I have auto immune disorders which make it impossible for me to take any pain meds so I have been suffering for the last 2 months, as I am still in pain. I have it in writing that rosylyn says i cannot take antibiotics because of my disorders, that tells me she doesnt listen to the patients concerns. Rosyln its pain meds I cannot take!!  I refused to go back to see this dentist to get the crowns put on and asked if I could pick them up and have another dentist put them on. I was told by rosyln that I could not and that I would have to come in and have dr garrett put them on. So my crowns are being held hostage by this dentist, so now i have to retain and attorney to get them back. I also sent dr garrett a certified letter of my complaint and at NO time has he ever picked up the phone to talk to me personally to try and resolve this(i also have it in writing that dr garrett was standing next to rosyln during our phone conversation and at no time did rosyln say let me ask Dr garrett what we can do for you until we can get a schedule time that works for everyone. It was take the morning appointments or we cant help you.. He claims to be a family owned buisness but doesnt seem to care that his patients are in pain, it seems to be all about the money .... truly a shame

The Best Dentist I ever encounter throughout my life. Dr. Garrett is amazing. Staff are great and the office are very clean and neat. I will definitely recommend this Dental place to all my Family and Friends. God Bless:-)
