About MPCC:
As members of the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA), Mountaineer Pet Care Center is committed to meeting a high standard for conscientious care for the animals you entrust to us.

MPCC’s pet resort is designed to provide your pet with a safe, enjoyable and active stay. MPCC is an all-inclusive pet resort. MPCC believes that all pets are deserving of love, petting, soft bedding, exercise, food and treats. Therefore, these items are included in the price of all stays at the resort.

Meet the Owner:
Grooming pets in the Morgantown area since 1983, Dorothy started Mountaineer Pet Care Center in 1986. With Dorothy’s help MPCC has grown and expanded 3 times (most recently adding our luxury resort spa) since then. Dorothy loves working directly with the animals and still grooms in the van 2-3 days per week and in the spa 3 days per week.

Dorothy did a great job with Maggie, our 12-year-old Bichon. Her mobile service is so convenient and less stressful for our pup. Highly recommend her.

We've used the Mountaineer Pet Care Center twice for day care for our dogs, and have been very pleased both times.  The staff is very attuned to the needs and personality of the individual animals, and very accommodating and easy to work with.  Definitely recommend them.

This place is awesome and always takes the best care of my dog and cat. I have boarded my dog in at least a dozen places due to travel for work or relocation, and I can easily say this has been the best. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that it's clean, they get a lot of exercise and attention, and it's well cared for. She has always come back looking and smelling beautiful because the groomer does an excellent job. When you pick up your pup and he/she isn't just excited to see you, but actually appears happy and at ease/healthy, it means the business is a keeper!

The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it is pretty expensive. I would consider other options if you are boarding for more than a couple of nights, as it can easily reach hundreds of dollars for more nights.

What a wonderful place! They are always clean and look nice. The staff are very helpful and always willing to discuss helpful tips and pointers for our dog. Their prices are a bit more, but you get what you pay for! They don't have any hidden fees like most places; my dogs gets excised regularly and he loves it there. Would recommend to anyone!!!!
