I accidentally called this plumber because they own both Birnie Plumbing & Drains and Mr. Rooter. Do not make this mistake. They charge an insane amount of money for services. In the photos provided you will see the “quote” from Birnie/ Mr Rooter. Based on previous reviews they well over change for clients willing to pay. In the second photo provided you will see the final payment to ROTO-ROOTER. This payment in full covered the $990 plus taxes quote provided by Birnie/Mr Rooter. The tech who came from roto-rooter, the company we worked with, arrived within 3 hours of my call, was highly knowledgeable and solved the issue within an hour of being on site. I would highly recommend passing on this company based solely on triple the price and the conversation with the office regarding pricing.
Chad came out to our house and was prompt and extremely professional. He diagnosed our plumbing issue and went over all possible outcomes. He was extremely pleasant to work with. He fixed our plumbing quickly and was very courteous. The level of customer care we received from him is not what you see everyday. While I hope I never have to call on him again, I will definitely call for Chad if we need services in the future.
The plumber, Chad, completed both our estimate and the work done. He was kind, courteous, arrived on time and completed the work in the time he stated. He was even willing to adjust our request in order to accommodate a change in our remodel plans and did an excellent job at no additional cost or time. Although the service was on the higher end, they actually showed up at my house for the estimate unlike the other 2 plumbing companies I emailed. Definitely worth the money and piece of mind.
Our basement had a sewer back up problem this morning. I ended up calling Mr. Rooter and was able to get a technician out in the afternoon. Kyle was very personable as well as professional. He worked quickly and efficiently to locate the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable with what the issue was and how to fix it. Our family is very appreciative of his honesty and would totally recommend Mr. Rooter, especially Kyle, for any plumbing issues. Thank you Kyle! ***To further the review, Kyle, Jason and their team came to reline the wastewater line. Job took two days to complete. They were courteous, professional and easy to do business with. The one knock I would put against Mr Rooter is towards their front office. I had called 3 times to get information about the job that was being done. All three times the representative advised they would get someone to call me back but no one ever did. All in all, due to Kyle, Jason and the field technicians, I'm very pleased with the work that was done. These guys deserve all the praise. The job they do isn't pleasant but they were nothing but pleasant. Thanks again Kyle, Jason and team.
Bob and his team were amazing!! Kyle was sent to my home and from the very beginning, he was reassessing me that my problem wasn't anything he couldn't fix. And that he did!!. He took extra care with minimal clean up. Bob and Kyle were caring and compassionate about the issues I was dealing with. Unbelievable service! Thank you kindly for everything you have done for me.
Louis was very professional and knowledgeable. He identified some issues that I hadn't noticed and then offered several options for the work that needed to be done. He then fixed the problem quickly and expertly. Louis was very pleasant during the whole time and explained everything very well. A very good experience.
Came to fix an intake valve of a toilet and charged me 651.00 dollars for a 10 minute job… avoid this overpriced company at all cost UPDATE: toilet is still leaking .. are you kidding totally take advantage of senior single ladies
We were very pleased with the service provided by Kyle. He was very thorough and made sure everything was working perfectly. We will certainly call again for all our plumbing needs in the future and recommend your company to family and friends.
Lou was a great help to us today resolving a complicated issue...very knowledgeable and professional. Cost was a bit higher than expected but nonetheless the issue was resolved. They were also able to come on the same day which was very important to us. Thanks again Lou.
I found a small water stain on my ceiling near the upstairs bathroom. Mr. Rooter responded quickly after my call. Chad was courteous and informative. He offered a variety of options to root out the problem without going directly to opening up the ceiling avoiding further contractor costs. After replacing a cracked and improperly installed waste drain, there were no further signs of leaking. Thanks to Chad and Mr. Rooter!
