Not a family friendly place. I was very hesitant to stay due to the first time I called the person that answered the phone was not very helpful. I drove down a few days later to make a reservation and look around and I assume the same person I spoke with on the phone was the same person that was present that day. Not helpful and full of bad information. We decided to stay anyway. Upon check in that guy was helpful and knew more than the other guy. The campground was clean and was very convenient to the trails. I was really hoping for an enjoyable trip to relax and enjoy some time with my family. Instead I returned home more stressed then when I went. The first time I took a shower all was good. The next time someone has decided to go in the restroom and lock everyone else out so he could have a private bath. Then someone had decided to use the restroom in the floor of one of the stalls that caused a bad odor and was there for at least 20 hours that I know of. At night you can expect to be awoken several times by other patrons arriving very late, midnight or later to set up their camps. No sleep during this. The last night the camp across from us decided to stay up past midnight to party waking up most of the camp ground. Due to no management on site you either stay up and look a the ceiling or go tell them to shut up. I finally chose the latter which I expected to go way worse then it did and was prepared if it did. The sad thing is that after I went over most of the crowd got into vehicles and left the campsite. They was not even staying there but was allowed to keep everyone up. When I left I told the lady up front about the bathroom issue and stated that did not surprise her because that was minor compared to past incidents. What a shame for a nice campground. If you are looking for somewhere safe and clean for your family go elsewhere. If you want to Sh** on the floor and stay up all night long without a shower this is the place. You might even get to take your anger out on the drunks across from you since you have to be the enforcer your self. Once again NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE.

Amazing campground. You will not be disappointed. Access to the trail system, great people running the campground, and an amazing hiking trail. Love this place. Will definitely be back.

The location was beautiful. We stayed in the campgrounds, which were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms/showers were well-maintained

Cheap and overrated amenities. Visit before booking. Would not recommend. They price gouge.

Great location, really nice property and reasonable price. Would just recommend the owners provide a couple logs of firewood for people who arrive late on the day when shops are closed.
