This place is great. We had a great time looking at all the machines and seeing them work. We got a kick out of all the very old machines with their simple displays. It was a great time. It's easy to spend 20 bucks in an hour even as an adult. This is something that I would really recommend to others

Definitely worth the visit! Unique place unlike any I've ever been to before. The games, melody makers, & automata are all from a long forgotten era that took real pride in their craftsmanship & curious creative endeavors. Place may not be the best for extremely sensitive people who cannot handle loud sounds (music) the plays once a quarter is paid. Speaking of which, bring your dollar bills. There is a couple of change machines. You'll want to play/try a lot of the contraptions here.

This is a very cool and unique place. It features coin operated amusements from the early 20th century. I am a fan of these types of amusements and happened to stumble in and enjoy my time here. They also had my favorite game ever; pinball. Some of their pinball machines had issues but that’s what happens with pinball. I’m sure they’ll get it fixed.

This is a great place to visit on Pier 39 for very minimal cost. The place is full of vintage coin-operated machine and arcade games. When we visited, there was no cost for admission, and most games only cost 25 or 50 cents to use/play. There are change machines throughout the building to get change, so you don't have to plan on bringing change ahead of time.

This is a really fun place with lots of old-time gadgets that are coin operated. There are so many machines that have been collected and maintained in this museum. There are a few machines from the 80's, but most are much much older but well kept. The museum is all hands on...even the really old ones. It's fun to play these games like those that my grandparents used to play in their day.
