It's convenient and closer to home then going all the way downtown for my child to be nice. Everyone is nice and friendly. Even the parents.😊 If yu are in the area of Ladson, Goose Creek, or off of Otranto Rd this place is definitely worth a try for an emergency for your child.

The checkout ladies were great, however after waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time, they could not say whether I would be seen in the next 30 minutes or not. My daughters appointment was at 9:30 and at 10:10, the doctor was still with the 9:00 appointment. Not acceptable to have patients wait so long past their appointment times. Will find another pediatric GI that is willing to be more courteous with the patients time. I have a job and family to take care of and waiting this morning, I lost a couple of hours at work. Not happy.

We took our 2 year old son with a high fever last night. The doctor barely looked at him and said his throat looked fine and it was a virus. That night fever got up to 104.3 with Motrin in his system. Took him to his regular pediatrician this morning he has Strep. I am so angry that they didn't even take the time to test him and told me it was nothing to worry about that it was a virus. Please request any test you would like taken there because they sure want take the time to do it.

I went in on Wednesday because my 22 month old daughter had a fever of 104.9  and wasn't eating.  The nurse came in took her tempature and the fever had went down.  Dr.  Redfern came in listened to my daughter's chest and said that it sounded like a little pneumonia was in her left lung. She ordered for a xray to be taken.  After xray, she stated that she was fine and prescribed her Amoxicillian for a possible ear infection.  And sent us on our way.  Here it is Sunday (4 days later)  and my daughter has full blown pneumonia along with the Flu which Dr.  Redfern never tested for. I had a family member pass away from pneumonia in 2009. And when the doctor today told me my daughter had full blown pneumonia on top of the flu I was devastated.  Because all I could think about was what if something devastating happened to my daughter . I put my trust in Dr.Redfern as a medical professional to care for my daughter and she absolutely failed.

Had an amazing experience tonight for our first after hours visit. Everyone in the office from registration to the doctor were very pleasant and made us feel at ease. The nurse  (I can't remember her name) that brought us back was amazing and so sweet with our 20 month old, even letting her climb into her lap while she talked to us. I highly recommend this practice--hoping we don't have to make another trip anytime soon but glad to know there's a place as amazing as this if we need it.
