What a great experience. The horror exhibit was great. Lots of classics. The Star Trek exhibit was fun, lots of artifacts from the show and several interactive aspects like making a transporter video scene. Great staff, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The fantasy exhibit was amazing too with props from movies like Lord of the Rings and Princess Bride.

If you're looking for hours of fun and learning then you'll find it here at the Museum of Pop Culture. When I visited I saw the Star Trek exhibit and it was totally worth the ticket price. I was very impressed with the history collected and effort put into presenting all the wardrobes. The transporter room was also really cool to do. Beyond the special exhibits you'll find Rock concerts, music videos, and of course food. This place is hot, so bring a light jacket and bottle water.

I enjoyed the horror, fantasy and science fiction exhibits quite a bit. Looking at variations of the guitar throughout history was very cool. Many of the interactive exhibits were down however. I wasn't too impressed with the indie game exhibit since I felt like you could play any of those at home. They had a fair amount of items, and many of them were cool, but I felt I went through them quickly. I feel like they could have had used more items in the hall of fame exhibit. When i went there they also were missing some bios on the hall of fame inductees. I thought it was worth going to. If the Nirvana exhibit had been opened I could have given this four stars.

For fans of fantasy, sci-fi, grunge, or a whole new experience even if it's for a day. Especially during hot summer. It's very cool and nicely air-conditioned during Seattle's rare, hot summers. Not to mention the indie game exhibit where you can actually play the games, which the museum cycles in new ones. Pretty great place to hang out for the self-proclaimed geek and nerds :)

Cool museum with great designs for each exhibit. They set it up with the perfect music and decorations to make you feel like you are part of the theme. The person who planned that did a really great job! I recommend it even I you are not that into rock music.
