Story

Music Central, Established in 1987, the business has grown to become the only complete music retailer in the area, serving musicians, churches, schools, and music educators. Music Central is one of the very few dealers in the U.S. that represents all three divisions of Yamaha musical instruments: Yamaha Clavinovas, Yamaha band and orchestra instruments, and Yamaha combo (portable keyboards, guitars, etc.). We also carry band instruments from Jupiter and Gemeinhardt.

Music Central - We make it easier for you to make music! Music Central continues to serve and support the school music market, which has been its primary focus since the business opened. Music Central specializes in all aspects of school music, servicing school music programs across Kentucky and Tennessee.
In addition to offering instruments for band and orchestra, we also feature guitars and basses from Fender, Alvarez, Squier, Epiphone, Ovation, and Peavey. Our Live Sound division carries sound reinforcement equipment from Yamaha, Peavey, JBL, Audio Technica, and Fender.

We offer a full line of Yamaha keyboards and Clavinovas and are proud to be the Yamaha Music in Education keyboard lab representative for Kentucky and Tennessee.
