Mutt's is great. I usually go there for family gatherings and we have so much fun. They have a train going around the room which adds to the incredible atmosphere. Also, their sweet tea is to die for. The staff seems nice, but you don't really see them much. Also, they do not have many vegetarian or vegan options. Other than that, Mutt's is an amazing place.

My first time at Mutts. I asked the cashier if they had brisket because I did not see it on the menu. I got a very emphatic  (rude) NO for an answer. I got the buffet because I wanted to try a little bit of everything.  The fried chicken was delicious. Mashed potatoes were very salty but sweet potatoes were good. Pulled chicken and pork ribs were both great. The other sides were OK. I loved the atmosphere and the place was very clean and comfortable.

Passing through the area and decided to stop here so I could go “sampling” local foods.

And I did: pulled pork (bland even with sauces on top), ribs (over cooked), fried chicken (delicious juicy large pieces), fried okra (nice). Desserts: pie was the best of the lot but still just average.

So, there you go: come for the fried chicken.

I am a special educator. We take our school kids with significant cognitive and physical disabilities out in the community every Tuesday. Today was our day for Mutts. We were treated so poorly. The management (John) was extremely rude. We were told everything from y’all are getting off the bus too slow (understandable...out of 15 kids more than half are in wheelchairs) to y’all sit in the back it’s a busy day and y’all are going to have to sit close.  I asked to speak to the manager 3 times. He finally came after the 3rd time of asking for him. He then walked off before the discussion was finished. Yes, I got a little “Mama Bear” on you today. My kids deserve to eat in any establishment and be given the same respect as anyone else.  Y’all made us feel like 2nd rate citizens today. Shame on you!

Hurt ourselves trying to taste everything our first trip;) Sweet Tea was just right. My Husband said Mutts catered his place of employment last week and it was a must try so we did. I must say we will be back!
