Great local spot with the best afternoon tea. We love their soups and salads for a quiet lunch. Scones are good too! It's always a wonderful experience when we go. They host so many great princess and holiday theme teas that I can't wait to bring my nieces here. You do need reservations but I've called day of for just the two of us and they've been able to squeeze us in. It's become one of my favorite rainy day activities! Kid-friendliness: They host princess and other character days often- it looks like a great kid activity!
A neighborhood gem. Great attention to detail with a classic English tea shop ambiance. A broad and eclectic tea selection, real china service in elegantly decorated rooms, the freshest pastries and sandwiches. Healthy salad, soup, and quiche options. A killer homemade lemon curd. And they have coffee if that is your thing. This is a great place for a brunch gathering, for a post-shopping treat, or for a quiet meet up with friends to catch up on gossip. Outstanding service, attentive but not pushy. Strongly recommended - if you're in the Burlington area - make a reservation and take the time to stop for tea on your way to the ferry or further North.
Such a neat place. Loved the collection of chairs, tea cups and pots! Friendly service and tasty delights! We were too full for the top tier and packed them up for the boys to enjoy at home. We plan to return. Loved the Black Wolf tea so much I purchased some to brew at home. It might even work for a delightful iced tea this summer!
Absolutely loved stumbling on this adorable spot when my group was in the area to see the tulips in season. We came in on a rainy Saturday and afternoon tea was exactly what we needed! I really loved the assortment and my tea - we were spoilt for choice with many options, and I went with the Coconut Chai and really enjoyed it. We picked the Classic Tea option and it was such great value - it started off with soup, and we were so surprised with the generously sized sandwiches and scones and how affordable the set was. The lemon curd was to die for and I’ve still been thinking about it two weeks after! Also the interior is so cute - lots of little mismatched tea cups and spring decor probably seasonal! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.
Went for my birthday and loved it. They accommodate you as best as they can so you can have an enjoyable experience. I'm on a low fodmap diet and couldn't have gluten or dairy, which they happily gave me and I wasn't charged extra- it's the same price as anything else. The server was perfectly attentive without being pushy and the food was tasty. I genuinely felt like they wanted us there and appreciated us spending our money there.
We have made this a yearly treat with my church family. As a group and for my birthday. The food is always delicious and served with great detail. Wonderful service in a quaint setting. A must do for anyone looking for a different food experience.Food: 5/5
Went for a baby shower not knowing what to expect. The teas were delicious, the finger sandwiches were so tasty, and the presentation was adorable. Such a cute place will definitely come back to try in a smaller group outside the event.
I didn't enjoy this experience. We were seated tightly against the wall with one table closely next to our chairs. We had Afternoon Tea, we order the Classic Tea option. I like what the Classic Tea has to offer, but I do not like the flavor, taste or the quality of the food. Scone was dry and hard as a rock, the soup is from Costco and it's what I have at home in the fridge and the tea was lukewarm no steam at all, not hot. I am not going back.
Darling place and great high tea. The food was wonderful. I've had high tea in many places around the world and their scones are the best ever. I highly recommend it.
We had Halloween high tea and it was adorable and so delicious! And they can make a whole gluten free tea spread. Awesome! Parking: Angle in spaces in front of the cafe Dietary restrictions: Have a gluten free high tea spread option
