This is a pretty good location. Service is friendly, great and helpful. They make a very delicious bacon and cheddar melt. The coleslaw tastes fresh. Can’t forget their delicious pies, especially their apple with ice cream. The restrooms are also well maintained. If I had one issue I saw a few gnats hanging out by the windows and flying around in the waiting area. Other than that, great experience overall.
Great and economical lunch with a refreshing beer in the hot weather! We had an Asian Chicken salad and the Works Platter. I like the spicy dressing that came with the salad, but not so much with the crispy Wonton. One thing to note is that the lettuce wasn’t cut up to my size. Some pieces were 4” long. The platter was huge, together with the salad, they would be good enough for three people.
The best sandwitch I have eaten in recent times, perfect crispy. The portion size is also good considering the cost
I was there on Feb 2,2023 at about 5 in the evening. The waitress Patricia was amazing. She was the only one serving, there were multiple tables. She never stopped going back n forth checking on all the tables. She was extremely friendly. The cook ,MichaelI hear they call him Timmy, was excellent. I ordered the Sirloin dinnermedium rare. I am still in awe, it's the first time in year's and year's, that a steak has actually been perfectly done. I am amazed that the staff are so friendly and helpful, even tho they were working their butts off. They do need more help. The staff make Shari's amazing place to sit and have a meal. Kid-friendliness: Kid options are available. Parking: Parking is close to the door.
I had breakfast and it was decent. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. An added bonus... apparently Wednesday is free pie day. So we each got a free piece of pie to take home. The peach pie was delicious, not too sweet and the peaches were not mushy. It was just right. Overall the place seemed clean, but they seriously need to steam clean their carpet. I can't believe they let it get that bad.
Don't bother. We were one of three tables and it took over an hour to get our food. My steak was cold by the time it got to me and by the taste and chewiness had probably been under the warmer for a while. The waitress didn't refill our beverages or check on us until we were leaving. She apologized for the lack of service and said she was on her own but I saw four other employees walk in and out of the kitchen and as stated at the beginning we were one of three tables small 2-3 people groups. Not worth the money, you can do better.
The atmosphere of this restaurant was just not it. The waitress of the restaurant was the only person giving an effort to run the restaurant, and they were short-staffed so the manager or owner had to work. A couple nearby tables were rude, and the smell of the restaurant made me want to puke. We waited 30 minutes for our food. We got food poisoning as well and threw up a bunch. We haven't been to this restaurant for 2 years since the start of the pandemic, and they have obviously downgraded.
Patty did a great job all things considered. They were out of baked potatoes, which is why we came, out of stuffing for the holiday meal. We were not told-the food was just served. Patty comped one meal because of the outages. The roll was very dry, the turkey was hardly identifiable as turkey-could hardly tell it from ham. The gravy was jellied and covered everything and the broccoli was limp and over cooked. All in all one of the worst meals I’ve had in a restaurant. Glad we only paid for one. Would give no stars except for Patty’s efforts.
Sever with the grey and black hair was too busy talking with her friends than to check up on her tables. Delivered pancakes with no syrup to my partner and just kept passing us, by the time we got syrup the pancakes were cold. Food was ridiculously salty. Used to go a lot last year but quality has definitely plummeted.
No one came to ask us if we wanted more coffee before we got our food. They basically took our ordered and then said forget them we don’t need to check in on them. I’m a waitress myself and I find it very rude to do what happened here today. There’s at least 6-7 servers here and not one of them have came over to our table to check if we needed any refills or anything else.
