myBekins is a real brick and mortar, full-service moving company, NOT an “internet only” site. We’ve been in this business many years. We’ve gone from horse-drawn moving vans in 1891, to motorized trucks, to building one of the first concrete and steel warehouses. Keeping in stride with our industry leadership and innovation www.mybekins.com offers our customers a modern, user friendly way to get a moving estimate and hire a mover.

BEKIN movers did a very good job picking up and delivering. The people that worked for them were excellent, especially Theresa, who helped deliver. She was very "on the ball".

One major problem is the truck broke down on the way South and caused a delivery delay of a few days. 

I have no idea if it's the driver's responsibility or the main company's responsibility to make sure the trucks are in good enough shape to make a 1000 mile trip. 
Either way, there is no excuse. I had my car completely inspected with a oil change, etc, before making the trip. I expect the same conscientiousness from the person responsible for the moving van.

The other issue involved stacking boxes 4-5 high ON TOP of boxes that were brightly and clearly marked ""FRAGILE--NOTHING ON TOP"! Can these people read? I was very disappointed because it resulted in crushed VERY EXPENSIVE CHINA!

They could easily have received 5 stars if they had been more careful. Theresa, though, was the best!

Decided to go with Bekins A1 movers for a plamned cross country move vs. other comparable companies b/c they were very attentive, and flexible, while offering the same services for an overall lower price.  When part of my move plans changed at the last minute, they we're able to accommodate the requested changes with regular follow-up.  I would definitely recommend Bekins for your next move.

Driver and movers were very efficient and careful with my things. Driver timed delivery perfectly for us. The only thing that could be better was the cost!

Bob was great, answered all our questions promptly and provided a few revised quotes as we changed our minds on what to bring for the cross country move.  The movers were even better.  Prompt, professional and gave us great packing advice.  They even helped us with our large acquarium when they realized our method was not going to work.  Our stuff got here in 6 days which was on the early end of the estimate.  I will never use another mover.

Very good experience overall. The price estimation process was great. Packing was done professionally with only a few instances where some things were just haphazardly thrown into a box.  And the moving process overall was done efficiently and timely.
