The nail salon I usually go to closed and a friend suggested N&K. I was a walk in 5 minutes after they opened and despite 5 nail techs already having clients I only waited 5 minutes. 
The woman who did my nails was kind and gentle. But did not clean up my nails or around them like other nail salons do. She shaped my nails well and did a thorough job with my gels. But left dust under my nails that’s now clumped from the gel polish dripping down the side of my nails.... I’ve never had to clean up my own nails when I get home and I’m disappointed in myself for tipping before checking my nails. It’s overwhelming being at a new salon and not knowing their quality of service and because she was kind I don’t regret tipping. But IF I go back and have my nails touched up or get a gel again, I’ll be checking the quality of their work before I tip.
The two children that people have mentioned were there today and yes were running around but weren’t yelling today. I understand the need to work and have your kids taken care of without paying outrageous daycare prices. But it is a salon where people go to relax and have a moment to themselves so as someone who gets migraines easily I sympathize with other clients.

My sister and I went in for a pedicure.  We were called immediately and we both sat next to each other for the pedicures.  My sister got a tech right away and he took his time and did a good job.  I waited 45 minutes before I was helped.  The nail tech that did mine, some guy, did a terrible job and was done in less than 20 minutes.  He had my nails polished even before my sisters pedicure was completed.  Then the tech was mad because I did not tip him.

first time visit today 
they spoke in their language the whole time laughing and messing around she stopped twice because of her phone 
i said short and my nails are no where near as short as i said and wanted and she didn't seem to care.
I could of paid the same price at the mall the tv was blocked by a lamp and the seats are uncomfortable

I always have positive experiences here, I go every 3 weeks with my sister. I get complimented multiple times a day on my nails and they have always been gentle.

Love this place. Usually pretty fast in and out, I have only occasionally had to wait more than 5-10 minutes (not bad for a walk in) they do great work and do not try to aggressively upsale you. Clean store and very friendly.
