My wife and I went to Nantucket Grill on a Wednesday night (half off drafts!) for dinner and had a somewhat mediocre experience. Let's start with the good things about this restaurant: - Cake! Their cake is tremendous. We brought home a slice of strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was terrific. Light and fluffy whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and overall very delicious. If you go to Nantucket Grill, definitely get a slice of cake. - Beer selection was decent with high quality beers on draft. On posters all throughout the restaurant, they advertise 14 beers on draft but tonight they only had around 8. Quality, not quantity though, right? - Outdoor seating is nice with umbrellas for shade, corn hole, and a grassy area for your kids to run around in. Unfortunately, these pros don't outweigh the cons - The food just isn't that good. I ordered fish and chips and while my fries were fresh, well seasoned and crunch, my fish was pretty bad. The fish (which the menu said was cod) wasn't very fresh. It sat on my plate in a puddle of liquid and the batter on the underside of the fish was soggy and quite disgusting. My guess is either that the cod was improperly dried and battered, or that the cod was frozen and the chef did not bother to to defrost properly prior to frying, leading to all the water in the fish leaking out on my plate. My wife's seafood ravioli were okay. The sauce was quite greasy and heavy on the cream and cheese. The ravioli filling was pureed so it was difficult to tell exactly what kind of seafood was put into it - a little weird to think about but whatever. - The service wasn't that great either. My waiter took our food away before we were really finished and was just a little too casual with us. He also never came around to ask how our meal was going. And my beer took forever to come and was slightly warm when it arrived. Food and service are the #1 and #2 most important things for a restaurant and sadly, Nantucket Grill falls flat on its face in these two categories.

Excellent food, prepared by your order, not sitting on a steam tray. Attentive staff. Certain days, order $10+ entree and get a mile high slice of cake...your choice of flavor.

Nestled neatly off the local Greenway in Sutton Station Nantucket Grill has a great ambience and menu to match. The patio is situated in a nice common area with outdoor activities and plenty of space for children to run free while parents enjoy a good selection of wine and beer. Be careful or the Honey butter rolls wont leave room for anything else! The menu is wonderfully unique and, as you might expect, heavily coastal but does offer an array of non-seafood options too. Come for the wine specials and stay for the cake! SAVE ROOM FOR THE CAKE. Serious. Personal favorite is the unbirthday but try them all! Nantucket Grill is our family go-to.

Best Cake Ever😋😄😛, I've been eating at Nantucket for years. I look forward to atmosphere, food especially the cake. Today a very good friend of mine, needed a really special cake for her husband's birthday party tonight. So I call Nantucket and explained the situation. The bakery had already cleaned up and finished for the day, his shift ended. Even still, the Baker stayed and personally made this Delicious Triple Chocolate cake, with decor. To make sure we got my friend's husband his favorite cake tonight. Thank you a million times over. Staff is Phenomenal!! I haven't figured out how to upload my pictures, but I will post them, once I do.

Had a quesadilla salad, substituted the spicy dressing for lemon basil dressing. It was delicious! Chocolate Bliss cake is divine! It's light and just the right amount of sweetness. Atmosphere is nice except that the lights are a bit too bright. I prefer subtle lighting, especially for dinner.
