One of the best organic and natural grocery stores in Colorado. The staff is friendly and have built a relationship where we know each other by name. Always willing to help! The food is always fresh and the produce is beautiful. Prices are low thanks to Natural Grocers educating their customers to use debit to pay as it is helps them keep prices low and doesn't cost the consumer anything extra. Try it out and you will fall in love with this neighborhood grocery store.

The Isely family has owned and operated Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage for over 60 years, with one goal .. to provide all natural, organic, non-GMO food and supplements to their customers. When I walk in to the produce department, I can be sure that the ear of corn is not A GMO, and grown without pesticides and other scary practices that conventional farming practices. Dairy products come from animals that are allowed to graze in the real sunshine in a real pasture and are treated humanely. Meat products are raised in a same manner, without the use of antibiotics or steroids. All the grocery items and nutritional supplements have been carefully vetted for purity and that is important for me and my family. The prices are higher than the conventional grocers, I found, after researching the industry, because conventional farming receives government farm subsidies or kickbacks, if you will. Organic farmers are not eligible for these "benefits". The Organic Farmer should be held in high regard, for upholding high standards for their efforts for bringing safe and healthy food to our tables. I will support them, as my family's​ well being is of the utmost importance to me.

Great choices for hair, skin, shave products; also very large selection of vitamins, minerals etc.
