The staff at Nebraska Health Imaging is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care; our goal is "Patient Focused." We do this by offering state of the art medical imaging in a patient friendly environment. Our medical imaging modalities include MRI, High Field Open MRI, Cat Scan/ CT, Ultrasound, Arthrography, and X-ray.

We are centrally located on the Southwest corner of 78th & Dodge within minutes of almost anywhere in Omaha. We are close to all of Omaha's major medical centers. I was very impressed by the staff and care my son received for his neck x-ray.  Unfortunately we were a little late to our appointment but both Trish and Marcie did all they could to accommodate us and keep their own schedule good and we really appreciated that.  My son had an MRI at Boystown in Dec and after insurance I paid over $600.  I found out if I had known about Nebraska Health Imaging, it would have been significantly less expensive out of pocket than through insurance :)

I'd never go here again! I was in severe acute pain and was sent from urgent care to this facility. The ultrasound performed was diagnostic and treatment was based on the findings. I was assured that I would have results back to my doctor so I could receive treatment in the same day. No one reported back to the urgent care facility and over 18 hours later, I am STILL in severe pain. On top of all of that, the front desk person is completely incompetent. She handed me someone else's personal information because she wasn't paying attention. Pretty sure that's a HIPPA issue. The kicker - I had to pay over $200 based on their estimate of what my insurance would cover before I even received any type of service. Should there be a next time I'll go the ER and get same day care.

I went to have my knee MRI and told the staff and wrote in my paperwork before going in that I had a metal BB in my knee. They still completed the MRI and half way through noticed that everything was coming out blank. Who stopped the MRI there and after the fact I asked to not be charged for this because I had to go and get an x-ray and said of the MRI because I could not have it done. I was told by the office manager that even though it came out and had no value I would still be charged for it and if I did not pay would go on to collections. She was extremely rude and would not make any concession I will be taking this up with the Radiology board and contacting my insurance provider to know the practice this company provides.

Estimates in Sioux Falls were $8,000 - $9,000 for two CT scans with contrast. Paid $750 at Nebraska Health Imaging and used the saving to buy a couch at the Nebraska Furniture Mart. I'm telling everyone I know  who self-pays about NHI. Also, my oncologist looking at the NHI scan said, "Wow, these are really sharp." Thanks, NHI! I'll be back.
