Had an amazing Greek meal at Nerai today. The food all-around was outstanding, the service was solid, and the restaurant during lunchtime was packed. We had one of the best octopus dishes of all time. Nerai is definitely a great alternative to Avra, which is also a favorite Greek restaurant of ours.Food: 5/5
Everything we ordered was quite delicious. The salmon was crispy and juicy. Desert was wonderful, the gelato that came with the baklava was so smooth and silky. The drink Aegean Sunset was perfect. Service was excellent. Price is easily 100+ per person. But it was a great experience.
Simply exquisite. Stumbled upon this gem almost by accident. I had Googled Mediterranean near me, to find Nerai was only 3 blocks away. I was a bit apprehensive that we’d be able to find a table on a Saturday night without a reservation, but the happily accommodated our party of four. My simple review will not do this place justice. The dishes were beautiful and delicious. In addition, the service was excellent.
I had a private birthday dinner at Nerai 2 weeks ago, and let me just tell you it was absolutely spectacular! Carolyn was so attentive, and professional when explaining the preset dinning menu and payment options. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with everything, from the menu to helping me set up the music. The bar room was secluded so we didn’t have to worry about being disruptive to the other diners. I had the filet Mignon it was one of the best I’ve ever had, the drinks were great not watered down at all. My friends and I had an amazing time I can’t wait to come back. Lastly, it was a bit pricey but there were no surprises on the bill they let you know everything upfront, it was truly worth every penny!
Located in the upper side, this innovative Greek restaurant offers an interesting proposition of new versions of traditional specialties such as deconstructed Moussaka with duck breast, a modern version of Saganaki Cheese with pomegranate and a Rolled Baklava for desert. The waitstaff is very helpful and friendly and the ambiance stylish. Highly recommended experience!
Very cool Greek Restaurant on 54th St. Service was excellent! The food tastes delicious although the chicken skewer was a bit dry. The place was full at lunch time which is a good sign. We enjoyed it
Nerai Greek restaurant in Midtown Manhattan is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The food at Nerai is nothing short of exceptional. Their menu showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Greek cuisine, with a modern twist that truly elevates each dish. Whether you're a fan of traditional Greek or looking to explore new flavors, Nerai has something for every palate. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the kitchen's skillful preparation shines through in every dish. I loved the branzino and what they call crackers. Also the Greek salad was delicious! One standout aspect of Nerai's dining experience is the impeccable presentation. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Nice ambience, good without being amazing Greek influenced food and pleasant attentive staff. Tuna tartare was fantastic and fresh, fillet mignon was cooked exactly as I asked and reasonable baklava I have eaten better. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.Food: 4/5
Food and service were top notch! Staff was really knowledgeable and attentive which is a huge plus in my opinion. Delicious dishes we tried the Lavraki & Salmon both were exquisite and the drinks were amazing so overall great experience! Tried a few drinks, old fashioned was great, smoked banana was exotic and strawberry Basil all were winners. Appetizers were also delicious we had the saganaki and zucchini chips! Definitely worth trying, highly recommend!
Nerai offers a first-class escape to the glittering Mediterranean right in Midtown Manhattan. A visionary concept where sustenance of body and spirit converge beautifully. I'll be back soon to bask in Greece's flavors once more!Food: 5/5
