IF I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS THEY WOULD GET -10 NO ONE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE AT THIS OFFICE

The three stars provided in this review are entirely due to the quality of care that I received from Erica, the P.A. on staff. When I started going to this office towards the middle of 2016, she addressed all my concerns and was very quick with referrals. That was for a well-visit. I returned to this office for an urgent visit this week. I was incredibly ill- my body ached all over and my throat was raw and painful from coughing so much. My coverage had changed between December and January, and the staff here informed me that they didn't accept my new insurance plan. (I was told by my insurance that primemed's office was within network and would be listed as my primary when I signed up.) I told the receptionist I'd like to make a quick phone call to the policy holder(family member)just to double check. (I wasn't about to resort to carespot!)To my dismay, I got more than a couple giggles and even an outright laugh from the one of the women working there. Really? Do you think that laughter is appropriate in a doctor's office when you're addressing a sick patient? I might have bitten the bullet and paid out of pocket, but this particular staff member's attitude turned me off to the office completely. I was able to find an office within network later that day, where I tested positive for strep throat and was prescribed antibiotics. I'm not blaming the staff for not accepting my insurance plan. However, I believe that a physician's office should be judged based on how they behave around their sickest patients; laughing at one in her most exasperated moment doesn't live up to that standard. I can't believe that I received this kind of cavalier behavior in a professional work environment.

Dr Shaughnessy and his staff of PAs and Nurses give first rate care. This is the type of Doctor that knows you and your family. Him and his staff are very professional and take your health and well being very seriously. My Wife, our four children, and myself have used Dr Shaughnessy and Neurotech for six years and have to move. We wish we could have taken his practice with us. Thank you all for the great care you provided for us.

They care about your feelings and want to make sure your ok. The only down fault is the meds
