I went here yesterday to exchange and get properly fitted for my 928's for work. The service I received from the Assistant Manager at this location was SUPER AMAZING. He helped me tremendously as I hobbled in with hurting aching feet and he took the time to insure that I got into a shoe that was going to be comfortable on my feet . I left here feeling more than happy. I observed the entire staff providing superior customer service. I highly recommend this location. And thank you!

The store is nice but the fact that they don't carry the new balance Skate shoes is really disappointing.

Bought New Balance boots in 2010, and they worked very well for me. I wore them out, and then some, because I couldn't find replacements that fit both in the heel and the plantar areas. After trying to find a replacement pair at closer stores, both New Balance and other brands, I decided to try the Alderwood New Balance store, despite reading the previous highly negative reviews about the service. I called first, and talked to Joseph (Joe), who assured me that they had replacements that were in the size and extra-wide widths that I needed. When I got there, Joe was very helpful in finding the best boot model and size, and put a *lot* of effort into checking the fit, and looking for available sizes and colors at the manufacturer, and at other stores, for the model of boot I finally selected, which was a recently discontinued style (1069). He also took a lot of time sizing and finding a pair of sandals and for me. I wound up buying boots in stock at the store, and buying sandals that will be mailed in the next few days from a store in Oregon. The service by Joseph was absolutely excellent, and I would recommend the store to anyone.

Great experience, told guy what I needed and they had it in stock. Fast and friendly. Somewhat limited options since the store is small but they try to represent a good cross section of what NB has to offer in a retail setting.

Loved the shoes... Until the sides blew out 9 months later. When I asked them about it they said their shoes need to be replaced every 9-12 months. For $150 shoes I expect far better quality. It is pathetic that they are made to last no longer than cheap Sketchers! So not waste your money here.
