Brought a car here with what I assumed was a bearing issue. The guys at the front desk went out and grabbed a mechanic who went for a ride with me. He agreed it sounded like either a bearing or drive train issue. He came back to the shop, pulled it right in and checked it out. They could have easily told me it was something serious and charged me hundreds. Instead they came and got me and told me that the lug nuts were loose. They took the tire off to check for damage, said things were fine and put it back on. He then checked all of the other lug nuts. I went to pay the bill and they told me there was no charge. They had me in and out and in about thirty minutes. The staff was all so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough.

These guys are great!! They checked my breaks and rotors (took off ALL FOUR TIRES) and charged me nothing! I'm from Chicago where you have to shell out money for everything. I'll be driving back up here next time my van needs any kind of service or repairs. THANKS GUYS!

This used to be a 5-star review.... We have taken 3 cars here over two years and gotten all kinds of things done, including two sets of tires, suspension work, repair of my 4wheel drive, simple stuff like oil changes, etc. Altogether, we have spent well over $3,000 with them. Our prior visits had been generally positive experiences, which we were really thankful for since we can walk to the shop. And we don't expect perfection. Today I took my truck to get three Drive belts replaced. I had already purchased the belts because I was going to replace them myself, and paid $35 for all three Bando (good) belts from Napa. However, I had a seized bolt and only have a manual socket wrench, so I took it to New Berlin Tire & Auto to have them do it. When I called, they told me that they couldn't use the belts I purchased, and although irritating, I understood from a liability perspective (even though they hadn't even been removed from their sleeves). So after they completed the repair, they called me with a bill of $283.03, of which $136 was labor (which I would have had no problem with), but they charged me $121.93 for belts that I had purchased for exactly $35.70. That is 348% of what I paid for belts. To be fair, they put Napa brand belts on, which are more expensive, but even with that, it is a 158% markup over retail price (I looked up the exact same belts). $283.03 for a simple repair is ridiculous. On top of that, I would assume they buy these at a discounted price as a shop, so who knows what the actual markup was. I don't know if there is new management or ownership, but we won't be going back, which is really disappointing. The trust we had is certainly broken.

This place is amazing. After I attempted to change my brake pads myself ( which I have done multiple times on other vehicles) , I snapped my caliper bolts and could not get them out. Instead of taking the easy road out and just charging me for a new caliper, Rob and Mike got the bolts out for a small labor fee and got my brake job done not only right and quick but for a much more reasonable price than many others in the area. It is hard to find a place you can trust- but these guys are amazing! Thank you so much!

DO NOT HAVE ANY WORK DONE HERE!!! I had to have the bearings installed mysteriously after new tires were installed. I was told the loud noise was just the tires. I just got back from another mechanic that also told me that another loud clanking was because the rear sway bar shackles were not tightened properly, also installed by this company. If they aren't shady then at the very least extremely incompetent!
