Worst ACE experience. I usually go  to manhattan location  and the customer service there is so much better, and will always go there in the future. I went in for a couple items, and had a question regarding the carpet cleaner rental. I asked if we had to buy the shampoo separate, old man at the register says "well, yea. if you want your carpets clean." I thought he was trying to be funny, I was waiting for him to smile or laugh but he just stared at me. I said, " well I didn't  know if some came with the rental or not." And he said "no" with major attitude and lifted his eyebrows at me. He stared at me until I walked out.  so rude!

Nicest, most friendly hardware store I've ever been to. Will definitely choose here over the other home improvement stores in the future.

The TV commercials claim that "ACE is a helpful friendly place".. definitely NOT talking about this location. Surprised this store is still in business.

This ace is stocked like most others I've been to in the Chicagoland area.  The staff however, are really helpful and courteous.  I do go here rather than big box places when I can.  Why?  Yeah, it may be a little more, but I'd rather walk out with the right part from someone who isn't just a retail worker, but someone who could offer sound advice.

I went to have 2 window screens fixed, and paid almost $150 frecking dollars. This place is a joke!
