Recently I  visited Red Wing in NewLenox on a Saturday afternoon to buy the Copper Blacksmiths 3343 boots. My first Red Wing purchase.   They did not have this boot in my size but both Vincent and Kyle were very helpful and professional in helping me get the right size by letting me try on boots made from the same last as the Blacksmith. They ordered me a pair of the Blacksmiths in my correct size to be shipped to my house. After placing the order and coming home, I had some questions related to pricing so I emailed Aimee their store manager. By Monday morning, Aimee called me and responded to my concerns very professionally and courteously. She resolved my concerns to my complete satisfaction. I was impressed as to how responsive she was to satisfying a new customer. We had a brief but informative conversation where she provided boot care tips for my new Blacksmiths. Thank you Aimee, Vincent and Kyle. Excellent service and customer care.

My husband & I visited this store in hopes of finding a pair of black boots for him.  Aimee greeted us immediately as we noticed a the ones with the look he wanted.  Aimee mentioned that they had been discontinued but searched their database to see if any other stores carried them still.  Sadly they were sold out, so without skipping a beat Aimee started to ask why he liked the boot and found an alternate style that was available via special order.  She was very helpful.  She even wrote down the style numbers of two styles of boot (both were fairly similar except for price and where constructed), so when we are ready to order them we can call it in.

She even helped me look for boots and sized me to be sure that I would order the correct size when ready.  Luckily, the style I liked is available via special order easily.

I highly recommend going to this store, if you are looking for any kind of boot.  I'm sure you will find what you are looking for...no matter the type or style.

Bought my first pair of Red Wing boots here.  Staff was very helpful and extremely friendly.  But I had issues with their repair/modification process.

After a week's worth of wear, I wanted to add some eyelets to the boots.  I printed out the form on the red wing website to have the modification done.  The site said to drop them off with the form at your local red wing store and most repairs could would be returned within 2-3 week's.  When I got to the store, the employees said they had never seen the form and that they do these modifications with a local retailer.  He said he wasn't sure how much it would cost to add the eyelets, but they would let me know when I picked them up.  He did say it usually takes about 2 weeks which seemed like a reasonable time to me.

After the 2 weeks I called the store and they said it could take up to 3 weeks and to try back next week.  This was still within the 2-3 weeks I expected so it didn't seem like a big deal.

After calling again after 3 weeks, I was told they would call me back after they contacted the retailer they sent the boots out to.  I was then told after a couple days that the retailer was dropping them off and I could pick them up Saturday (which at this point would be 4 weeks since they were dropped off).

I called again on Sunday to make sure the boots were ready to be picked up and they didn't have them, even after I was told they would be in.  At this point I asked them to please call me on Monday after they get a hold of the retailer.  They called me on Thursday, nearly 5 weeks after I originally dropped them off, to tell me they were ready to be picked up.

Again the staff was very friendly on the pickup, but I ended up paying full price for the modification despite the fact it took them more than twice as long as they originally quoted to do the modification.

The staff is very friendly, but I can't reccommend bringing your boots here for a timely repair.

Bought two pairs of boots from here with no problem. Tim is awesome and does a great job helping and cleaning up my boots.
