I have a horrible neighbor who in the past we've had officers from this precinct have to come resolve disputes between my family and this neighbor. Things have been very quiet lately and all has been well however, today from 10:30AM to present time now my neighbor has been making banging loud construction related noises. Today's my day off and being a full time student and mortician in training- all I wanted was to sleep. After hours of the TORTURE of listening to this man bang bang bang away, I decided to call 311 and make a noise complaint. Even the rep on the phone heard how hard it was to hear and speak over the loud banging. After all was submitted and I got my confirmation email... 27 minutes later I receive another email stating that the cops had come by and deemed the matter unnecessary. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!???? UNNECESSARY??!? So the hours of my day trying to get some type of rest is unnecessary? But giving using your authority to continuously succeed in your acts of intimidation is necessary??? I remember when I looked up to police officers as a kid because I believed that they didn't discriminate and that if a civilian had an issues... no matter how big or small... they'd put their best foot forward and help. As I said previously, my neighbor and my family have had issues before... and officers from this precinct always tend to show up waaaaay after the fact and after they were called, and the problems are left unresolved. I've heard a female officer come out in her demeaning manner on one occasion sounding pissed off saying, "This is why you called us? Ugh ya gotta be kidding me!" I'm sorry honey that as law abiding tax paying civilians we WASTED your time by calling because we felt we needed help from the law enforcement. But that's just it... the civilians of Richmond Hill, Queens aren't wasting your time... YOU are the ones wasting OUR time. I'm giving one star because on one occasion a Caucasian male officer was polite and empathetic.

Awesome police officers! They are always very quick to respond to calls! I once had to call in to report some kids fighting on my street and the responding officers arrived within minutes of my call and were able to diffuse the situation so quickly. The officers talked with the kids and genuinely seemed to listen to them. I was really impressed with how the situation was handled. Please keep up the good work!

I've been calling the precinct for 2 hours regarding a police report for an accident I had. Officers that were on the scene talked to me VERY briefly before leaving without giving me a police report number. Somebody actually just picked up the phone, and then immediately hung up. Seems these people are either terrible at their jobs, or just have absolutely no interest in working. What do they get paid for? 0 stars. The worst.

Last night (May 18th) the 106 pct patrolled the Stop & Shop parking lot on Atlantic Ave near Woodhaven Blvd from the Fast & Furious crowd that gathers there every even especially when the weather is nice to blast there car stereo and to drag race up & down & through the parking lot....I wanted to say a very deep THANK YOU because you gave many of us hard working people in the neighborhood a peaceful night of sleep. 😎👍

The worse!!! Waiting over 2 1/2 hours for a patrol car to come to a car accident... BTW I'm still waiting!!! I called 911 3-times and they claimed a car was assigned to my case. Called pct, office tells me unfortunately it is what it is??? Really dude?! Then he tells me a new tour started so someone will be here shortly... smh on a Tuesday/Wednesday morning.
