The negative reviews are unfortunate. As a current student of the school, and as a non-Chinese, I think you get what you put into something. No school is perfect and this one is no exception. You take the best from what is offered and leave the bad. I have found the students very welcoming and the professors professional and very knowledgeable. Sure there are exceptions, but if you try to keep the glass half full, you will be fine. The clinic is a teaching clinic so you are obviously being seen by students who are still learning. But a supervisor oversees everything. Reviews are just that. Go see for yourself.

Even though I'm also Chinese I find it unfair that all the staff in the office, school and clinic are Chinese, except for the receptionist.  Their favorite students are Chinese, and they let them get away with cheating and performing duties that they're not certified to perform. There are teachers who teach the bulk of the classes which makes it impossible to avoid them if their teaching style falls short and ineffective.  I started my degree with this school and finished accordingly but I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone I care about.

Make sure the clinic supervisor is overseeing treatment and herbs.
Majority of school staff and students are Chinese.  They speak Chinese in class and aren't very welcoming. School is suitable for non-working students who do NOT have ANY other responsibilities besides school. This is because the material and schedule is not organized or scheduled properly.  Teaching style leaves students stressed to pass exams and not lose their money, but it is not an enriching experience. Very little is learned.  This approach only works for the school and teachers, not students and future patients.

As a former student here I can attest that this school only caters to Chinese students and the dollar, especially senior administrative staff.   The grade scale is not compatible with other colleges for example an A- in any other college is graded as a B here. The clinic is fine, except I was given herbs that made my condition worse.  So it's advised to make sure the students are being supervised in their preparations and treatments.  I cannot recommended this school for studies because of the lack of fairness to non-Chinese students.
