Of all the airports I have been in, this is absolutely the worst !! Trying to get from Gates C to Gates A requires a shuttle bus and you better ask where that shuttle bus is because you will never find it on your own!! The signage for it is right where it is. Why would you have it around the C terminal so you could get to it??? Be prepared also because the shuttle driver is in no rush to get you to a tight connection on the other side either, maybe get one of those blue vested workers to drive an extra shuttle or two??? If your lucky enough to make it over to A Terminal and have a long layover, you better pack along a cushion for the chairs!

I can only speak to my experiences at Terminals B and C as I only fly Delta or United. The airport is constantly under upgrade and construction and the improvements keep coming Parking is difficult and expensive so I usually use off site parking which is quite a bit cheaper. They have decent facilities in both terminals for eating and the facilities are clean and you feel safe.

Only issue is the security check point takes forever. Make sure to arrive at least 1 1/2 hour early for your flight. Other than that food options are great 👍

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. My husband and I recently experienced our first plane trip. We flew from Newark to Arizona. When I booked our flights, I posted that I required special assistance as I am a hefty woman and have a disability. I have never been met with such kindness! We no more than walked into the airport that we were met immediately by an attendant with a wheelchair for me. He took us through the preliminary channels straight to our boarding gate. When we were ready to board, I was wheeled right to the plane entrance and I was the first to board. No, this was NOT a fluke! When we returned from our trip, I was given the same kindness and assistance as I got when we arrived for our trip out. I literally didn't put my feet on the floor until I was ready to walk into the plane. Thank you to everyone at Newark Airport and to our attendants. You were ALL wonderful and I appreciate your assistance and kindness.

One of the busiest airport in the US. But I think they’ve done a decent job moving people around. Employees try their hardest to be as friendly as possible despite the number of people they service. You can ask anyone anything and you’ll get your answer. If they don’t know, they’ll find someone who does. The terminals could be bigger to avoid the feeling of being in a sardines can. It could be worse like La Guardia Airport.
