Please, save yourself your time and money. We came later in the evening. Only one other table was present upon arrival. I’ve worked at a Newks a few years back as a catering manager. So I know the drill of their closing duties. They girl took our order while looking mildly annoyed. We waited 20 something minutes for our food. I heard a girl say she needed a god runner. From that moment on a dreaded that our food would come out cold. Which it most certainly did. I ordered a sandwich and a soup combo. The sandwich was predominantly bread and had hardly any condiments. The soup had to be stirred to be even remotely warm. We also ordered a pumpkin cake to share amongst three of us. The girl cake out to tell us the cake was frozen and wanted to know if I was willing to wait 15 minutes for it to thaw. She offered me another cake. Which I didn’t want because the whole reason I asked for a cake to begin with was to treat my daughter, whom loves pumpkin. She looked annoyed, which is fine. So we waited. I don’t know if the management that closes just doesn’t care or what, but generally cakes are cut up at the end of the morning shift and night shift to restock the mini fridge. But those standards must not be a requirement here. Bottom line: cold food, long wait and treated like a second class citizen.

First time at a Nuk's Eatery. Nice place , the one employee was great , and very quick service . We came for food though. That , was why the one star. Both of the soups were okay , as was a mac n cheese , and a club was not bad. The two roast beefs were as bad as meat gets . Mostly inedible . I tried unsuccessfully to bite through the single layer of thin sliced real roast beef . I opened the sandwich , took the meat out , and tried to pull it apart , at the part l had tried to bite through , and couldn't pull it apart either . I ended up tearing it , with some difficulty , along the gristle lines , into shreds , but some parts wouldn't tear either. There ended up being about enough fingertip sized pieces to cover about a third, of a half sandwich, in a single layer. Several of those bits and pieces turned into meat chewing gum. They wouldn't chew up , in other words. The bread , cheese , sauce , and thin sliced tomato , were good. That was my lunch. A cheese sandwich, with meat chewing gum. Total for four half sandwiches , one added bacon , the included sides , (two soups , a salad , one upgrade to mac n cheese ) one fountain drink , three waters, and a brownie , was $51. A bit price-y for half sandwiches , but the sides are substantial, and fresh. I only described my personal experience, but my wife , who also had the roast beef , had a similar experience. The other sandwiches, an italian and turkey avocado, were edible , if sparse. I very seldom leave reviews . I waited two days to leave this one. This is not a spur of the moment , bad mood , kinda thing . Its a bad food thing.

I really like most of their food but I think they missed the mark on the avocado and shrimp salad. The dressing and lemon juice they had on the greens was just too bitter. Try the soups and sandwiches. Much better tasting!

The food was awful -- a dry, unpalatable travesty. The portions were unusually tiny. The food came out cold.

This business really needs to offer gluten-free options and stuff for those who can't eat milk products. You would think that this would be easier for a company design like this. You may not be able to satisfy severe gluten allergies but a bunch of people could eat there. I hope this business will evolve in time.
