I'm surprised this place is still open because the last time I was here it seemed like the place was falling apart.  They did not have enough staff and the food was getting worst and worst.  My only problem with this restaurant is the wait.  Even if you call in your order 30 minutes before you arrive you will likely wait an additional 20 minutes to pick up your food.

This is the new location which has a lot of potential. This was the first night of the reopening. Food was great. Nice selection from crab cake dinner to fried shrimp. I had the jerk BBQ wings with mac and cheese and cabbage. Delicious! They have a make shift bar right now. Entertainment for the night was a comedic host ( forgot his name - sorry) and Marc Evans and his band. Fabulous and fun show. Once they get everything settled, it will be 5 stars.

I’ve been a customer since they started having live music on Friday evenings.  I have not eaten there during the day.  On Friday evening the food is set up buffet style (the food selections are prepared in advance and dished out by servers).  Customers must stand in line to order from the menu of the day; and select an entree and two sides.  Their fried catfish is the hands down favorite.  The food preparation is very inconsistent; and 2 of 3 times I’ve been there I’ve returned either an entree or side dish. There isn’t any food or drink service.  Customers must get those items themselves.  On the other hand,  the music is jamming!!!  They’ve booked the top talent in the area; and that makes the visit to the the cafe worth my time.  What can I say?  I’m a music lover?
