You will love it here, you're treated the way you should be. Make you feel your home the food isn't exceptional it's terrific or maybe vice versa it's a great experience it's like going back in time the food like I said this terrific I don't even think that's the right word besides the food you'll have an experience that you've been looking forward 2 a long time, if you don't go there you're missing out. The locals are more than inviting two strangers if your looking for a good time. With respect and you will receive the same if your a AAA whole you will politely sent on your way. Give respect and you shall receive back. Needs doesn't need this to create business. They love what they do and their customers, old or new. You don't want to miss going 2 an experience like this. It's like it used to be years ago when this wasn't strange but the norm. Best fish I've ever had even it wasn't which still be a great place to go to. But fortunately it has all of it good food good service excuse me excellent food and service. Many of us know what I mean and would love to be hear again. Those who have never experienced this kind of love of what you care about in the real world of the past. Please go here and see what it was like in the past.

This is a great little hole in the wall that I only frequent during lent for their incredible fish sandwiches! Oh and the Mac n cheese! Very good. A neighborhood joint with friendly staff and good old time vibe

This place is so worth the hype. The fish sandwich is the best we've had in Pittsburgh across many restaurants and many churches with lenten fish frys. The fries are also outstanding and the coleslaw is OK too. Come here for the fish alone. Eat in or carry out. 

The atmosphere is also excellent. We sat at a table in the bar, but I'm not sure, there may be additional seating elsewhere too. Our waitress was very friendly and quick and the crowd at the bar was having a great time even though it was pretty early in the day. The demographic at the bar was a little bit older (probably late 30s and up) but that's what you want out of a place like this.

Nice bar with good food. Not a "new" bar. This definitely is more if a "hole in the wall" kind of bar. Id say more for an older crowd, but still very friendly staff.

Best fish sandwich I've ever eaten. The staff is great. A neighborhood institution.
