Norfolk Lodge & Suites is very nice. I liked the cabin-like design and feel. There is a nice on-site mini-golf, and a restaurant that was decent. They have an indoor pool, open until ten for all ages, until eleven for adults, which is nice if you want to go swimming quietly or do laps. My family and I had two rooms, one facing the parking lot and one with a pool view, and the balcony is HUGE! Nice perk, I've never seen that type of layout before,with a balcony over an indoor pool. The rooms themselves were clean, with a nice sized fridge and all that fun stuff. Cleaner than most hotels. The breakfast in the morning is awesome as well and it goes until 10:30 (on the weekends at least). Huge plus: their bacon wasn't chewy...done perfectly actually! This is the best hotel I've stayed at in a while, and when I come visit my brother again, I'll be booking a room here again.

Extremely friendly staff at check-in and check-out. Breakfast had a good selection that is typical of most hotels nowadays. The room was clean and comfortable. My expectations were exceeded.

Very good breakfast, large rooms, we'll cleaned everyday. I go the the lodge every time I am staying in Norfolk.
