Very dated, but our room was clean with no odors. Everything worked. Our room had an exterior door, we could park our car right outside. Very friendly staff, great decor and good location. Great experience.

We booked this room based off of the photos we could see online and the soaking tub offered. When we arrived, the lobby was clean and the front desk employee was helpful. When we entered the wing that our room was in, it had a horrible, musty smell to it. It seemed to get better the further you walked down the hallway, but unfortunately, our room was pretty close to the entrance. Once inside our room, it seemed dingy. It didn't smell fresh, the lighting was poor, there were numerous broken tiles around the tub and the bathroom was not updated at all. When I went to run a bath, the water was barely warm. We contacted the front desk, who said they would have maintenance look into. An hour later, we hadn't heard anything, so we called again. Finally, a maintenance person knocked and looked into it. We followed his instructions with no improvement to water temperature. We ended up getting the room refunded and we went elsewhere. The only reason I rated this a 2 is because of the customer service and the fact that they refunded the room.

I stay at the Regency lodge because it is good price for the hotel that has a hot breakfast and it has good service

Stayed in one of the whirlpool rooms. The whirlpool was great. The TV had a weird issue where the picture would go out for a second, even without the cable box connected. One thing to note is that this hotel is near an interstate, so you can hear cars passing, but it's not bad enough to keep you up. The only ice machine I could find was complete opposite end of the hall. Did encounter a spider in the room, but who knows if it hitchhiked with us or what.
