I went there to get my Level 2 license after my level 1 permit. I searched online on what I needed to bring and brought it there. Lady in the front asked for the car registration and our license and permit and she let us in. We got there and we needed more documents to be able to continue and we weren't aware of this because it didn't state it online. Told us what we needed and went home to come back two days later. We went back and the same lady we saw the first time asked us a different question and asked us for Insurance under my name, even though I don't have a registered vehicle yet. She said we have to have it under my name even though she didn't tell us that the first time we went there and got in. The second time she wouldn't let us in. Waste of time and money. Not giving us the right/enough information we needed to be able to get my level 2 license.

Wonderful experience for my daughter. She went in for her learner's permit today. Everyone was very professional & pleasant from the lady at the desk where you check in to Mr Connor who processed all the forms. He explained everything to my daughter in a calm manner. If you have all the correct forms, you are good to go. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at any DMV in any state!

These folks were VERY nice to my elderly mother. The lady at the front desk greeted her kindly and was very patient. Her tester/evaluator was SO nice and helpful. Thank you, everyone at the DMV on Francis Street! Your helpful attitude has not gone unnoticed!

Wait time wasn't too terrible for the amount of people waiting; they try really hard to get everyone in and out. Shout out to Ms Davila for be awesome and cheery!

Went this morning to renew my license and do my name change. The rude African American lady(light-skin, long nappy hair-&no I am not in my feelings, just what I saw)at the front desk would not accept my birth certificate with the damn seal on it. The one accepted everywhere else! BUT the kicker is, didnt need it any damn way! Went to another DMV and was handled with no problem! My whole point is the way she was so matter of the fact that I needed it, even when she knew it could have been handled with out it. (Was not there for the realID)Sorry, not sorry, but she has sorry ass customer service skills! My plan is to also contact her manager. Folks just skip this place and head to the one in Thomasville!
