Poorly designed. Terrible playground equipment. Decent walking/biking trials. Trash everywhere, but that's just Laredo for you. It could be an amazing park if the used their resources better. They have a recently built swim complex at the front with a full staff with no one swimming. Maybe task some of that staff to clean p the park instead of sitting around an empty pool. Apportion some funds to build playground equipment suitable for small children (1 to 3) and some additional equipment for kids (3-6) with rubber floor instead of wood chips. Get rid of the disc golf course. Pull up the equipment and move it to the park over on Barret St. Typically disc golf courses aren't built on top of walking parks.

huge beautiful park,  full of people at night but not crowded.  Great for running,  walking, exercise or relaxing.  Has some neat skate spots.

I wish they refilled the dog waste bags. Maybe then there would be less dog $#!+ every where. It's an nice place for a jog/walk. The park has an extension accessible across San Isidro Parkway available by crosswalk or can park at other parking lot down the street. Nice small kids play area, volleyball, and basket ball court. No shaded areas though.

My family and I frequently come here to go on walks or use the playground or go fish in their ponds. There is a lot of open space and plenty to do. Traveling off the beaten path to find hidden Nooks and coves is what we have fun finding.
