A few years ago, I took my beloved dalmation to Dr. Nusbaum because he had bladder stones ad crystals in his urethra so he could not urinate. By day 3 he was not better at all so I brought him in. When I left him he was wagging his tail and giving me kisses. 30 minutes later I get a call that says he is dying and I need to get there immediately. My husband and I sat there and cried for hours as he died in front of us and the whole time Dr. Nusbaum was a chatty cathy, going on and on about her own dogs. Come to find out, one of her vet techs told me that Dr. Nusbaum doesn't carry a lot of meds and gave him something that brought on the renal failure and heartattack that was supposedly caused by his crystals and not being able to urinate. I lost my best friend that day. As I was leaving, in tears, she handed me a bill for $837 (second bill as this was the second time he was in for the same thing). We were loyal customers, but I guess even grieving customers have to pay on the way out. I would stay away!

I would like to respond to the review by Robery Hannaman. I am a animal veterinarian that practices at North College Road Animal Hospital. Our animal hospital cares for family pets during the day from 7:30am until 5:30pm Monday through Friday and on Saturday 7:30am-Noon. According to Robery, he stated that he heard animal noises coming from our hospital.This was not our animal hospital.We have indoor facilities for dogs and cats. We hand walk our patients.We do not have outdoor runs or play yards.

I hear what sounds like animals being tortured daily. I don't know what goes on but it sounds awful. I live in the apartment complex 100 yards away and the yelping is non-stop, especially a nighttime...very strange.
