It's the busiest hometown Cafe I have ever seen. Obviously a lot of returning patrons and the waitresses seem to know everybody by name. Service with a smile, good prices and good food.
Oh, yeah... an AWESOME free meal the month of your birthday from 11am til close daily.

When you see 8 pickup trucks parked in front of a small downtown cafe, you know that's the place to go for breakfast. And this place does not disappoint. Great prices and big plate fulls. Friendly staff. Friendly locals.

Used to be a whole lot better it seems to be way too small, parking lot and building, for the customer base they have. An extra waitress or two would also be great. Delicious food, but don't know if I'll be going as often as I used to though

I grew up in Idaho Falls and have fond memories of this old school comfort food cafe. I moved away decades ago but whenever I visit, North HiWay rare beef sandwich is first on my list to enjoy. Even after all these years, it is always as good as I remember. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will be glad you did!

This place is a local institution. It's over 80 years old so it's a bit rundown, but it is the kind of little diner that franchises are trying to imitate. It has a diverse and colorful clientele. Parts of the menu have probably not changed since opening. Tip your servers, they work hard and are a pleasure to talk to.
