AVOID! AVOID! unless you like having the Worst vet ever. Staff rude and Bitches! horrible with our dog and cats. Gives your pets shots and vaccines when they don't need them or had them already. Staff lies and will tell you anything they think you want to hear and won't actually get anything done. Never have I had so many problems with a stupid vet just trying to get some medicine for my pet. Things that shouldn't be an issue will be an issue. Everyone in that place needs to be fired! Again AVOID THIS VET! I don't normally leave reviews for places but the service was so BAD, HORRIBLE STRESSFUL I had to let people know to AVOID THIS VET!! Unless you like sub-par vet care and love to have problems then this place is for you! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

I don't leave bad reviews! This is my first, but I feel it's important people be careful going here! Every member at this Vet will tell you something different about everything from how to get rid of fleas to the vaccines. In the short two months I took my puppy here, I have had several issues (not even getting into all of them on this review) on matters that should have never been an issue! One was trying to get them to ok a purchase for Advantage Multi (prevention Vet recommend) for a discounted price I found online. They originally told me they could price match PetSmart price for this item. One staff member even told me they don't advertise that they will price match because they have "customers that have college funds and they want their bonus at the end of the year". Needless to say that comment made it hard to trust anything after that that they told me about why I should order this medication from them instead etc. The second staff member that I spoke to a week later (still waiting to hear back about the price match) said that they couldn't price match, but could give me a mail in rebate. I explained why do a mail in rebate that will take 6-8 weeks to get my money back when I can save it now and not worry about the hassle of a rebate. I asked if veterinarian could just ok the purchase with PetSmart (medication has to be approved by a vet). This staff member then tried to explain that the Veterinarian didn't feel comfortable with this because places like that online get their products from the black market and would be no guarantees on the product or if my puppy had a bad reaction, no help from Advantage etc. I then explained what I was told by the first staff member and how her statement made things about needing to purchase it from them questionable. I also explained that this has taken over a week just to get this answer and that my puppy was coming up due for her next treatment. Needless to say, I still didn't get this item by the time she needed it, even though I started calling and trying to get it a good 2 weeks before my puppy needed it. Then I had issues with a distemper vaccine not being fully explained. I was advised she needed it, which I was fine with. But was not advised that it be more than one needed. When I brought this up, all they would ask was did I get a puppy packet. I received one to two brochures at my initial visit, which they fit me into so it was a quick visit before they closed. At the next visit I received a few more brochures, but still not all them (staff member said she was out on an couple). I explained that giving me a bunch of brochures to review and expecting me to use those to understand that the distemper with LOPH (could be spelling that wrong) vaccine would need to be given more than once was unacceptable. That is why I pay to go to the vet. The vet should explain what and how many vaccines something is before starting any puppy with them. I have NEVER had a vet expect me to read a brochure to get the information I needed about a vaccine they were giving my animal! My puppy had already had 3 vaccines from the breeder, none with LOPH, but it was concerning that my little 5-9 lb (as puppy grew) was getting too many vaccines to close together. They didn't even take me to a room to explain about the second distemper with LOPH vaccine was needed. We never even spoke to the Veterinarian at any of our 3 visits there! They just took her back and it happened so quick I didn't have time to question it, because no one was up front after they took her back. I thought she was there that day to just get her rabies shot. Then a staff member tried telling me she called me back and left a voicemail, which I did NOT get! I explained I called back 3 different days after for a reason, because I had not heard back. Then that staff member hung up on me, because I got upset that she was arguing with me that she left me a voicemail. I would not trust this vet with any of my animals again!

I love this vet. They were the only place to see me right away when my dog was sick. When we found out that she had parvo, they took action by helping me with the costs and getting her seen and on fluids right away. They were really great and my dog was very healthy when she came home. They even sent me pictures of her during her treatment. I take all my pets there now. They are amazing. Dr. Ransom is great and so is the support staff. 100%
