I just had 5 teeth extracted (4 wisdom and 1 molar along with some grafting) all in one sitting and may I say it was the MOST comfortable and pain free experience I have ever had done! Dr. Da Ponte is so kind and her staff is wonderful. Everyone there is very professional in explaining exactly what is going on and what will happen. I love how Dr. Da Ponte assures her patients are comfortable and feel okay all throughout the procedure. I was IV sedated and although I remember everything (was hoping I’d sleep and wake up with no memory) I don’t regret it! I felt NO PAIN and to my surprise the procedure was done quicker than expected. As I type this I have the gauze’s still in my mouth to control the bleeding and I am very comfortable. Little to NO PAIN and I feel great. I will 100% refer Dr. DaPonte to all my family members and friends. Keep up the good work ladies! And thank you so very much for making someone with so much anxiety prior to this procedure feel so calm and informed from beginning to end! Thank you a million!!!

While I give Dr. Dupont a great review, their office procedures and policies gets one star.  While they will file a precertification of benefits, they will will not honor it and still require you to pay all even if they have the Explanation of benefits (EOB).  With this in hand we showed up to have wisdom teeth out.  We were happy to see that we would only owe around $600.  Funny...thinking back we had way too much confidence in their bookkeeping policies.   Telling us that they "didn't have time to call Aetna" and the hold time was "too long" they demanded the whole $1600 right away.  It doesn't take much math (matter of fact 5th grade math to be exact) to figure out that over the course of the month they are taking in tens of thousands of dollars of money that is not owed by the patient only to wait to file (we are 4 days after treatment and nothing has been filed with our insurance company), hold the money, make interest on the transferring of funds (yes...I have been in payables and receivables and money is floated).  This is bad business.  This practice of making patients pay money that they know they do not owe is BAD BUSINESS. 
Update: it has been 10 days since surgery and they STILL have not filed the claim through insurance.
