Everyone at Northern Roots is friendly and knowledgeable, for any question you have regarding hair. As you walk in the door you can tell right away that everyone is happy to be at work! Meghan recently did both of my sons hair, and it turned out fantastic!! She brought to life exactly what they explained to her. Meghan has also done my wife’s hair for over 15 years. Definitely worth calling or stopping in to book your appointment!!

Went here for highlights in the winter and they tuned out okay, way blonder then I asked but I gave it another go last week for a touch up. Went in and asked the lady to bring my highlights back to my root, money pieces to the front and if she could make it less blonde by toning it longer, it was a half head. When she was done at first glance it was okay and when I got home I realized the top was completely crooked. One of the foils was on a diagonal and there was still a lot of my root showing with no shadow root or anything it looked horrible. I called back the next day left a message very politely explaining the situation and if I could come back later in the week. I got a call back the same day where they refused to even offer an appointment with their manager because she was “completely booked” and told me the same lady can fix it “we will just have to juggle you with her other client today I guess” it felt very unwelcoming over the phone. I wanted the manager to fix it so she could see what they sent me home with. The lady didn't even ask me what exactly was wrong and just started on foils witch makes me think she knew exactly what was wrong yesterday but didn’t mention it because I didn't notice. She brings the highlights back to my roots but didn't tone any of the new fouls so now there is three different shades to my hair. Very disappointed and hopefully the manager will look closer at her stylists skills.

Not a great experience! Hair stylist wouldn't do the cut I asked for curtain bangs and when I questioned she yelled loudly "you don't have enough hair!!". I questioned again and she just yelled louder. Super embarrassing. She did end up conceding and cut a small amount but it was too short. I had pics and felt I was clear about what I wanted.  After going to Atelier salon and getting exactly what I wanted perfect curtain bangs that look amazing, exactly what I asked for I had to write this. It was not only a bad cut and colour my roots were still showing but also unprofessional and rude.

Got my hair done Thursday and am so in love with results Meghan is so sweet and great with hair she’s made my hair dreams come true I totally Recommend thank you Meghan

A coworker of mine went and saw Megan and had her hair colored and cut she looks absolutely like a rockstar she looks fabulous if you go you need to ask for Megan she will rock your world with whatever hairstyle you like she's amazing Megan has been my hair stylist for years very personable very friendly very accommodating to whatever you needs are go in talk to her see what you think have her do your hair you'll be amazed

It costs me $38 for a men’s cut plus tip. I really just wanted it shorter in the back, but even after I said this and asked her to cut it shorter twice, she kept using the scissors the whole time and she didn’t cut it very short at all.  Aside from the full scissor cut that I didn’t ask for, she also forgot to blend the left side. I would’ve said something when I was there but I didn’t notice it until I was able to remove the come-over that she thought looked good. I walked out of there and within a minute i had a crowd around me criticizing the cut.  This place is very nice, I honestly think I just got one of the less talented employees. Which has been pointed out to me by some of the other patrons.

38$ plus tip for a men’s haircut and I had to repeat myself multiple times for basic things like “fix the sideburns, but she never fixed it.. It was way too awkward repeating myself in front of everyone, so I just accepted it as a disappointment and left.

Kayla was great. It's a busy place with many stylists. I'll be returning!

I’ve taken both my boys 7 & 3 here and had amazing experiences! We saw Tina and Amanda, Tina suggested a new way to work with my sons cowlick and looked fantastic, while Amanda was super kind and gentle with my youngest and made him feel comfortable and gave him a beautiful haircut! Will definitely be back!Service:&nbsp;Kids' cuts
