After our daughter was born, we spent the first year at a "big box" clinic and simply felt like another number... when we found northern lights pediatrics, it was such a blessing. The physicians truly care, they take time to listen and aren't rushing off to the the next patient because your time is up, and they work with you to find a plan or treatment that works for you. Each physician in the group has their own style and approach so it was easy to find a physician who fit our family approach to healthcare. Same day appointments are never a problem and weekend hours are a blessing as kiddos can change on a dime!

I would like to start by saying I tried to resolve my issues with Northern Lights Pediatrics internally and patiently waited for a compromise but they did not want to admit their responsibility. I was told, in fact again and again not only by the front desk but also by the manager of the office that they are in network with my insurance. Even after I received my statement from my insurance and it clearly said that they are not the manager insisted that they are. Per my persistence they looked into it and admitted that they were wrong. When I asked them if they would take any responsibility for their lack of knowledge of their contracted insurances and repeatedly misinforming their patient they right away refused. I asked this matter to be brought to the providers' attention as this establishment is owned/run by their providers and the response was: four out of five partner physicians did not want to admit a responsibility toward the charges made for my son's visit. As a provider myself I am appalled by their decision. The bill was paid for however, as a principal we all should take responsibility for our mistakes no matter how many agreements we ask our patients to sign. The office should be educated on what they tell their patients and when they make a mistake they should take some responsibility. If you are looking for a patient-focused, family-friendly pediatric practice Northern Lights Pediatrics does not measure up.
