I have traveled all over the world. First as a dependent then with the military, and as a result, I have had many different dentists work on my teeth. I have to say that Dr. Hawa is by far the best dentist I have had work on my teeth, and the only dentist I would even consider to do my full mouth restoration. Dr. Hawa is the most compassionate and understanding dentist I have ever known, who actually takes the time to sit down with you, to get to you know you, and to listen to your dental concerns. There have been many times that I have gone in to see Dr. Hawa expecting him to come in and start drilling, but instead he comes in, sits down next to me and starts talking to me about me, my life, my experiences, his life, and his experiences, and when we are done, I am always amazed at how much he has accomplished in the field of dentistry. I truly see his passion and commitment to his profession, and I have to admit sometimes I feel guilty that he has spent so much time with me, but I also have to say that it is extremely refreshing to have that kind of relationship with your dentist. I know 100% that Dr. Hawa truly cares about me, and my teeth. I have also never had a dentist that makes himself so available to his patients. I am use to maybe getting a call from the dentist’s staff to see how I am doing after a procedure, but I have never received a call from the dentist. Dr. Hawa always calls me after a procedure to see how I am doing, and he tells me to call him if I have any issues. I can’t tell you how reassuring that is to me. In addition to Dr. Hawa, there is his staff. They are extremely friendly and always make me and my wife feel right at home. Karen and Stephanie are two of the best dental staff that I have had the pleasure to work with. It is evident that they care about customer service, and they care about me. Again extremely refreshing! Dr. Hawa started talking to me in 2014 to consider having full mouth restoration to fix my teeth. Dr. Hawa explained that I had numerous teeth with large fillings that were failing, I had badly worn teeth due to grinding and clenching, I had several root canals, an implant and almost all of my teeth were cracked to some degree from my years in the Army. Dr. Hawa knew that this was a difficult topic for me, so he never pressured me. He simply gave me the information and told me that I had about 2-3 years before I would start to have serious issues with my teeth. I thought about his recommendations, and I thought about the state of my teeth for 2 years, then during a 6 month check up in 2016, I decided I couldn’t put it off any longer, and I asked Dr. Hawa if we could revisit the full mouth restoration. We set up an appointment, and I went in to hear Dr. Hawa explain exactly what the procedure entailed, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. That is the part that no one likes to talk about, but with Dr. Hawa and his staff, it was dealt with extreme care and understanding. It was really after the consultation that I made up my mind to fully commit to this procedure, and today I have all of my teeth and the best smile in my office!! I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Hawa, his staff, and my smile.

Short version: This is the friendliest, least stressful, most caring dental office I have ever been to. If you want a lifelong dentist and a safe place to take your family, this is the place. Dr. Hawa and his staff are hands down a perfect example of what customer service-meets-dentistry could be. No one likes the dentist and i am the first to run out of the door. But Dr. Hawa and his team are personable and calming. And I am high maintenance :) One of my sons are slightly autistic and do not respond well to anything that would happen in a dentist chair. But my son did not scream once, did not run once, sat through the whole ordeal of cleaning and exams and I know this was fully due to the Hawa staff and their experience. Had some very expensive work done and his staff was experienced enough to tell me WHEN to come to the dentist (I waited 2 weeks) so my wife's coverage would work alongside my own, reducing my bills by hundreds. They put my needs and billing over their profits. As a customer service manager for over 30 years I have used some of my experiences with his office as conversation starters in my team meetings on how to approach a client and make them feel like they will be taken care of. Honestly, it is a pleasure going to the dentist now. This is my honest review, I am not compensated in any way and I just really want anyone who is reading this that you have found the right place.

My experience at the office of Nader Hawa's Northern Va. Dental Arts office in Sterling Va.has been nothing but a true pleasure. He is not only professional and truly caring but he's also a true artist at his work. His staff is efficient and friendly, always acommodating and helpful. Stephanie always greets me with a sincere smile and is always there to help. I can't recommend them enough, they know what they are doing and my mouth feels GREAT!

Not needs of the patient friendly! I had a temporary crown come off and needed immediate care on a Wednesday . The office would not help without a full new patient consult. I spoke width Stephanie she stated the Dr. didn't have time to see me I understand Dr are busy ,and I would have understand if she would have told me that I could come in on a different day instead she was really rude.

I would like to thank the staff at Northern Virginia Dental Arts and specifically Dr. Hawa for making me feel at ease. When I walked into the office I was nervous. I don't like to go to the dentist. I saw a black spot on my molar a couple of days before I made my appointment. I thought I was going to have to get a filling. When I sat down in the dentist chair, I was very nervous I had set myself up for a  couple of fillings. Doctor Hawa, after a couple of minutes examining my teeth, told me that I don't have any cavities. I was almost disappointed. I had worked myself up thinking I was going to get some fillings. Dr. hawa  explained to me that there are grooves in your teeth especially in the molars where staining can occur so that's what it was, just staining. Stephanie at the front desk recommended some teeth whitener she was very patient in explaining how the product would work for me. Thank you Stephanie.
