Doctor was fine but I paid the $20 co-pay and they never sent the bill to my insurance company. Very hard to get someone on the phone.

This has been my primary care practice for several years. Dr. Cefalu is an AWESOME guy. Down to earth, and takes the time to listen to concerns. I've been to other practices that are constantly pushing extra(unnecessary) services in the past. Village Family Care is top-notch!

Call, get hung up on. Over and over again. I switched doctors a year ago because of this (and rude nursing staff), but my husband still sees Dr. Thornton. Wait time to get an appointment is usually 3 months out. They refuse to refill prescriptions until he comes in for another visit, so...he goes without his meds for the next 2 months. Meanwhile, I call and call and they pick up the phone just to click it back down. Hung up on again...

Called ahead and let them know I was going to be late. They have a policy that if your 10m late it automatically cancels the apt. She told me to come in and she would let the doc know. When I got there she told me I had to reschedule. Soooo thank you for wasting my time. If this is how they operate I would rather go to another general care place.
