Novo Coffee - Denver
"Come see where the Novo link in the coffee chain starts. Novo Roastery and Supply is located in the heart of the RiNo neighborhood, easily identified by our Get Closer mural. Stop in to pick up a bag of coffee or one of our favorite brewing devices, we’ve got everything you need to make great coffee at home. The roastery is also where we host our coffee classes and our weekly Friday Cupping. While we take coffee seriously, we firmly believe in not taking ourselves too seriously, as evidenced by impromptu ping pong tournaments, plasma cars, and a fridge full of local microbrews."

We booked the Friday Tasting and Tour session for our company retreat, and everyone loved it! They were all big food nerds who really appreciated the deep dive into coffee roasting and brewing. Colin, our tour leader, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, guiding us through the entire warehouse, roasting, and sipping process. In terms of the coffee, I was particularly surprised by their Indonesian-sourced beans, which are traditionally not my favorite, but is absolutely beautifully roasted at Novo.
Just stopped by didn't take a class there. It's their roastery- so they don't serve coffee other than some excellent and free nitro cold brew on tap. Whole beans are available on sale. There are tours and classes - according to an employee there - they have a $20 tour on Fridays that includes a bag of beans although didn't go myself.
I took the brewing class and it was informative. The instructor was knowledgeable and fave clear answers to all the questions. My favorite part was trying different brews of coffee to tell which coffee tasted horrible and which tasted great and what made them that way.
Best coffee! Very nice people. Bulk coffee only. Not a coffee shop.
I booked a "seed to cup" class for my husband's birthday I sent my husband and a friend. Novo charged $85 per person for the general public. I thought perhaps they would be offered a free cup of coffee or a small bag of their favorite roast. It was a lame course that they put on for employees and just charge an outrageous amount to the public. The cost should be $20-25 for simple experience, not $85. My husband said the person leading it was very nice, kudos to the leader. I do not recommend taking this tour. Spend your $85 on several bags of coffee at another roastery.
Novo has, hands down the best coffee in town. The cuppings each Friday are a great way to try many of their excellent beans at once. Bring out-of-towners for a great local experience.
I've had 3 different Novo coffees mailed to me this year via Trade Coffee subscription and all 3 have been incredible
Great place! I haven't had a bad experience here yet, and they roast great coffee. If you're into local roasting perfection, this is the place to go. The folks that work here are also great to talk to!
Hands down the best coffee in Denver. Beautifully balanced and roasted to perfection. Their Friday cuppings are wonderfully fun and informative.
Online it says they serve coffee, they don’t. I asked the salesperson a question about their coffee and they said they don’t know the details of the process. They don’t know about their beans and they don’t serve coffee. Go somewhere else.
