This is by far the best dentist office I have ever gone to. The staff, the dental hygienists and Dr. Kim are AWESOME, KIND, FUN, and they make me actually not dread going to the dentist. I've been going there for 5 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I even moved, and I still make the trip to see them twice a year. It's like a reunion! If you are nervous about going to the dentist, then this is where you should go! They are the best!

I was a patient for over 3 years and always liked Dr Kim.For about a year I also saw Dr C and she made me a front tooth veneer which turned out great! But the office staff was not very helpful with our insurance/Flex spending account situation.My husband had to call numerous times because they didn't understand what we needed! And then in March Dr C made me a filling in a molar which resulted in severe sensitivity issues.The problems started a few months after the filling.She thought it is just sensitivity and prescribed a special toothpaste.That didn't help!So I saw Dr Kim and he saw on my x-ray that the nerve in this tooth reaches very high up almost touching the filling.He took the filling out and placed a liner between the nerve and the filling.That only helped for a few days and the pain was back.I wonder if it would have helped if Dr C had put a liner in the tooth from the start (after seeing the high nerve endings)... Anyway...Dr Kim then suggested a root canal. And when I asked the office lady (Cissy) about pricing she told me she couldn't tell me/run it through my insurance because it is not in my "treatment plan" yet even though Dr Kim clearly talked with me about it!She said they would run it the same day of my root canal appointment.I asked her if I would get a price BEFORE the procedure and for some reason she totally didn't understand what I meant!I tried to explain to her that I only had a few hours for getting the root canal amount AND the procedure done before I needed to pick up my son. She was clearly lost and got annoyed with me on the phone! I then decided to get a second opinion since nothing was/is wrong with my tooth and the nerve besides the sensitivity. The lady (Cissy again) at the office was not happy with that.She was very snippy and asked right away if I want to cancel my follow up with Dr Kim and I told her no...not until I have heard a second opinion.She also told me that no one could send the x-ray to the other doctor for a week because the person who does that is not in the office!I thought that is very strange!So the other dr had to take another x-ray...the third one in 10 days! I then went to Round Rock Root Canal Specialist and they were wonderful!They told me I should definitely wait on getting a root canal since the nerve looks fine and there is a good chance it will get better in the future by itself. I still have some sensitivity but it got better and not worse so I am still waiting to see if it all goes back to normal. And today I got a call from the NuYu dental office again about an upcoming cleaning appointment.I told Cissy on the phone very nicely that I will need to reschedule and I will call her back.She was very snippy and short on the phone again and this was the moment I decided to switch doctors! The office staff is not very helpful with insurance claims and especially this one lady becomes rude if you don't tell her what she wants to hear!

I have been coming to Dr. Kim for years and I have received nothing but perfection . He is kind and gentle. His staff is so pleasant and helpful. I never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist but this office makes it so easy and fun!!! Haley at the front is very helpful and Susan the office manager goes out of her way !!!

Dr. Kim is always in such a great mood! His staff up front is also very friendly and welcoming. I came here to get 6 month braces and I'm now considering changing our dentist to come see him. My teeth are starting to look so straight now and I just love how good I feel leaving here. They also have a little kids area with toys, TVs to watch while you get seen and beverages. Highly recommend this office! They are exceeding in customer service.

Pros: Office/front staff is extremely welcoming and wonderful! Dental assistants are really nice Never had any issue personally with Dr. Kim. He seems nice but isn't as good a dentist. Cons: I felt drilling (painful) every time I've had work done in the past few months A gap was left under my filling and he had to completely redo my filling which I, again, felt the drilling and was in pain. I had to go back twice to have the filling buffed down because it was too high I still can't eat on that side of my mouth because the filling is so big that I think it sacrificed the integrity of that tooth (based on 2 other opinions of local dentists that have been in dentistry for 10+ years) and so I cringe when I eat on it He recommended a root canal which was not recommended by the two other dentists who gave me second opinions. They just recommended a crown to build the integrity of the tooth. I'm suspicious that he drilled too much of my tooth unnecessarily but because the other dentists are professionals, they would never say that to me directly. Dr. Kim also did work on my Mom's teeth and she is having the same issues I am having so I think it's no coincidence. Overall opinion: Dr. Kim was really nice to me and his staff was wonderful but I just don't think he is doing a good enough job. He is either too busy to take the time with his patients to ensure the work is done properly or he lacks experience.
