Went to this place a few times. The food and beer is really good. The service is amazing as well.

On one of my visit, me and my friend were seated outside and the host had forgotten to inform the waitress that we were seated outside and no one has taken our order for 20 minutes since we arrived. 

I was a little angry and went inside to inform the host about the situation and she immediately apologized and made sure we were taken care of immediately. 

Later when we received our checks they waived off the charges for the 2 beers we orders and gave us free beer coupons for our next visit. 

It was an honest mistake from their side as no one else were sitting in the patio area during that time and I really appreciate how they handled the situation once it was brought to their notice. 

They surely care about their customers. Will keep trying to visit this place occasionally

A staple of the Austin Brew Pub scene for the last 20+ years, NXNW doesn't disappoint. The menu is perfect and the food is always great. The beer and wine selection is vast and the decor is very good as well. This isn't a "fast food" place so expect to pay above $15 just for your entree.

Solid pizzas and a well rounded menu and decent beverage list makes this a worthwhile visit when in these parts.  What amazes me a bit is that even with such an extensive menu there is care taken in the preparation of each item and that shows in the flavor and tastes. Pizzas have fresh ingredients and are well balanced, though slightly underseasoned (a pinch of salt on the vegetable toppings would elevate them IMHO) and the mussels are a must get.

Love NXNW. Come here almost every time I'm in Austin for work. The food is fantastic, great beer, great atmosphere. Always an all around enjoyable experience.

This place used to be a favorite for beer and burgers! I went recently and both were disappointing.

- Beer was flat
- Bartender was hard pressed to grab a refill on a slow day / had to be asked repeatedly for help/ went to another staff member for a refill
- Burger was burnt and sides were cold
