This place is THE WORST!!!! They do not know how to train their staff to be respectful and knowledgeable. I called to order lunch for me and my coworkers. The gentleman who answered mentioned “free pie Wednesday “ I told him I needed to place a to go order , but to tell me about the free pie, and asked if there were requirements for my purchase for the free pie. He said “nope it’s just free pie!” We decided on French silk pie and then he asked “how many pieces would you like,1,2 the whole pie??” I responded that I only needed two. Then he placed me on a “Brief hold” came back just to tell me I had to dine in and order an entree for the free pie. So I moved on with my order. He placed me on “brief holds” repeatedly. When I asked for a total and got put on another “brief hold” he never came back to the phone. I went up to the restaurant to check on my order and picked it up. Once we got back to work and opened our food my salad was WRONG and my lettuce was so discolored from sitting out I couldn’t eat it!!! When I called the manager her only excuse was that the man taking my order was new and she had just hired a whole new door staff so they are under trained because there’s no one to train them. She offered a free salad or pie but we were a little scared of what might be done to our food so I just told her I didn’t want anything but that her staff didn’t need to be on the phone if they didn’t know how to do their job. RIDICULOUS! I won’t be going back.

The restaurant has a bad smell. The floors are sticky. The bathroom needs a fierce cleaning. My friend found a gnat in her drink, I found a gnat on my menu, and we had a gnat flying around us. The manager didn’t apologize when we pointed it out to her about the gnat in the drink. Needs a good cleaning!!!

Having gotten food poisoning from Ruby Tuesday’s I have since been reluctant to eat at chain restaurants. However, O’Charleys is wonderful. Food is fresh and seems made to order. The service is sincere and friendly. The prices and choices are great. The only Chain Restaurant I will eat at when visiting Johnson City.

Great food, great service, good prices. Seated immediately and the waiter was there before I had a chance to open my menu. My meal arrived extremely quickly and the waiter checked in several times throughout my meal. I went around 4PM and it was pretty empty, but I still appreciated the amazing service. Also the best chicken tenders I've ever tasted (lightly breaded, tender, and juicy)

I got food poisoning from a sampler plate that had chicken on it. I threw up 3 times over the span of the night and I feel awful to the point to where it hurts my stomach to lay on the side of my body. I only ate 2 chicken tenders and a half of a potato skin and my stomach started hurting while I was having my meal. My step brother ordered medium steak and his was rare, still raw on some parts and his stomach started to hurt too while we was having our meal. I will not be coming back here, this was awful.
